    Not a 4 star hotel

    rating01 Jun 2026

Please do not stay here if you are going on a short city break and or with children. We were travelling with our 1 year old daughter and the hotel refused to provide us with a cot. I booked with seeing “cot on demand” and apparently I should’ve called and requested it before. Even though the booking is for a young baby. The staff were rude when we asked for a cot and said they couldn’t provide one and she had to sleep in a bed, which was not safe. Me and my partner had to box her in on the bed to ensure she didn’t fall onto the tiled flooring. The beds are hard and uncomfortable and caused me and my partner to suffer with sore backs after sleeping and walking around the city all day.The hotel is miles away from the city centre and taxis and Ubers are ridiculously expensive. So please if you are having a city break, do not book here. The only positive is that they have a free shuttle to take you to a metro station. This needs to run more often and offer returns at a reasonable time. The food. One word. Disgusting. The breakfast - the sausages were in brown water, the hard boiled eggs were slimy and squidgy. The breakfast is full of sweets and cakes so isn’t ideal. The “baked beans” tin was filled with green beans for some reason. The food was inedible and we barely ate any. The juices taste artificial and too sweet. If you need dinner and have to eat and the restaurant- order food instead as dinner is also, disgusting. We were served frozen pizzas that were cold and the sauce was watery. We were the only people in the restaurant so that says a lot and for €18 a pizza, this is far too expensive for the quality of food that is being served. They do not cater to the British audience. This seems to be more of a business hotel than a tourist/family hotel. The room was spacious. There was no bath provided so we couldn’t bathe our baby for the 3 days we stayed there. The rooms were cleaned once a day, however we found a broken nail in the bed sheets aswell as an eyelash that wasn’t mine. The mini fridge is full of food you have to pay extra for, so no room for keeping drinks cold or milk stored for our baby.Overall, we would not stay here again or return.

Would not stay here due to location & reception staff

    rating24 May 2026

The location of the hotel was far out from Milan however, we looked past this as google told us that the last tram stop was 400m (5-6minute walk) from the hotel. It was at least a 20-30 minute walk through abandoned building and what felt like unsafe streets. The hotel does offer a shuttle to the station however they don’t offer a return so we were left feeling very unsafe when walking back. The taxi’s were very expensive (£60 for a 10 minute drive). Also, We had a very early flight back home and felt unsafe walking to the tram, so a taxi cost us £70 to the closest train station. The individuals on reception weren’t very helpful and were rude. When we asked for help with transport, she said she wasn’t able to help. The rooms were very clean, bedding & towels changed each day and beds were comfortable, although the AC didn’t work and when you open the windows you can hear the motorway.

    please never stay here!!!

    rating22 May 2026

literally the worst hotel!!! stayed here 5 nights in a row and not once was my room cleaned. the ac never worked in my room! i was told on my third night i can move room, proceeded to go to reception to get my new room key and they said to me they didn’t say that and it was a mistake. I’ve gone down just now as i’ve been to lake como and i need to have a shower and a member of staff called Alejandro was shouting at me telling me there is no towels and to go back to room. never been so appalled and mistreated in my life. please please save your money and stay far away from here Klima Hotel, Marketing at Klima Hotel Milano Fiere, responded to this review Dear Guest, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to read about your experience and we sincerely regret that your stay did not meet your expectations. After an internal review, we found that the “Do Not Disturb” sign remained displayed on your door throughout your stay. In line with our procedures, housekeeping respected your privacy and did not enter the room. However, we also acknowledge that we should have paid closer attention to your extended stay and checked more proactively whether you required fresh amenities or assistance, and for this we sincerely apologize.Regarding the air conditioning and the room change request, we regret the inconvenience caused. A technical issue in our system during the night shift unfortunately impacted the handling of the request, which contributed to the situation not being managed as it should have been.We are also sorry for your perception of the interaction with our staff. This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and your comments have been shared with the team for further review and training. We regret that your experience was disappointing and thank you for your feedback, which we take seriously as an opportunity to improve.Kind regards,Klima Hotel Milano Fiere

An honest review about the hotel

    rating03 May 2026

We stayed here for a long weekend, we thought the hotel was very nice. The hotel staff were all very friendly especially the two young gentleman on the front desk who were very informative on how to get to places and also spoke very good English. The hotel was very clean and the interior was very smart. Our rooms were cleaned and made up nicely each day for when we returned. The hotel also ran a shuttle bus to a close by train station however we were happy to walk about 20 minutes to a train station called “Milano Certosa” Yes the hotel is not in the nicest area however that has nothing to do with the hotel itself and that is the case for many of the hotels around the outskirts of major city’s in every country you visit. There are a few abandoned buildings close by and everywhere does seem a little rundown however every morning and late most nights we (a young couple) would walk past all the abandoned buildings and through the tunnels into busy area towards the train station “Milano Certosa”. We had no issues at any time, everyone kept to themselves and we also stopped in most corner shops to get a drink to and from the station all of which were nice and cheap. In other reviews i saw complaints about the smell of the hotel in which I disagree with i personally think it smells very nice. The music in the speakers caused no issues for us personally, the only time we could hear the music was when we were walking through the corridors and once in our room we could not hear it at all. There is a motorway next to the hotel however we found it did not affect us at all, with the windows shut we couldn’t hear it at all and even with the windows open at night we hardly took any notice but each to their own of course.Unfortunately we did not book breakfast or dinner at the hotel however it did look very nice. We also ran out of time to use the spa and gym facilities which we were really upset about as they did look great. All in all we really like the hotel and would really recommend it especially for the price. Another option we found for getting into milan if you don’t mind walking a bit would be to walk to the Milano certosa train station in which you need to go out the hotel and keep left, past the tall abandoned buildings on the right past the audi dealership on your left and through a tunnel under the motorway and then go right and follow the main road all the way down to the train station, there is also trams you can hop on to make it quicker. From milano certosa we got the train to Republica and walked from there however you can also get on the metro from republica.
