    Great hotel just outside the city center

    My wife and I only stayed one night while passing through Milan but we very much enjoyed the hotel. It is a very unique property built in a refurbished warehouse or factory but is very modern, clean and airy. It is close to the city center but feels miles away and is much calmer. Our room was very comfortable and both room service and breakfast were first rate. The service from the staff is genuinely friendly and welcoming. A special thank you to Fabrizio and the valets -- I'd been injured a few days earlier while skiing in the Alps and he could not have been more helpful getting us (i.e. me) to and from our car with our luggage. He was a Godsend and I will be eternally grateful (and, yes, I'm feeling much better, grazie mille, almost 100%).     Don’t let the reviews scare you off. Our experience here was genuinely lovely. It’s a beautiful, unique property that feels unlike anything else and isn’t too far from Milan’s city center. Our room was bright with natural light and impeccably clean. A breakfast buffet is included with the rate, though we did not get a chance to try it so I can’t speak to that.If you are looking for something with character, charm, and like perfume, I would recommend staying here.
