    We stayed here just the one night en route to Naples. Conveniently situated between the stations at Pta Garibaldi and Centrale and just a short walk from the Metro at Reppublica which takes you into the centre (the Duomo stop brings you right out in front of said Duomo!) The room was very spacious, classically decorated and the bathroom was huge! Breakfast was fine too. Would recommend.

    Stayed for two nights as part of a city break. Hotel was spotless, rooms a good size and comfortable. The shower was excellent, superb water pressure and piping hot. Only slight grumble was that even at the beginning of April, the room was quite warm and the a/c has not yet been switched on for the season. There was however an external window that could be opened in order to cool the room. Located between Milan Garibaldi and. Milan Centrale stations, Republicca Metro station was also a short distance away. Small supermarket opposite selling everything you could need, several restaurants in the area.Breakfast was the usual cheese, ham, rolls etc that one finds in a European hotel, the selection was not vast but was nice, hot drinks brought to the table by friendly staff who spoke superb English. I would definitely stay here again.

    This hotel was excellent! The room was spacious and quiet, the bed was comfortable and two good choices of pillows (one memory foam and one soft), and the shower was easy to operate and powerful. The air conditioning worked perfectly and obviously it’ll be noisier if you have it on a higher fan speed, but the room is cool if you have it on the lowest setting. Breakfast was one of the best displays I’ve seen for a buffet and the muesli and yoghurt in particular was delicious. The staff even made some extra croissants for me because I did the Parkrun and didn’t get to breakfast until 10am. The location is very good and only a few minutes away from the tube. It’s also less than 10 minutes away from the train station in case you want to go to Lake Como for the day for example. Ignore all of the bad reviews because I can assure you this is a fantastic hotel. There’s also a rooftop bar!

    This was an excellent location close to the Milan Central Train Station - about 8 minutes on foot. The hotel was very clean and the room and bathroom were huge! The view from our room was nice and we had two windows that opened giving us fresh air. There is a rooftop patio but it was unfortunately closed during our visit. There is another patio but we were unsure if we could use it or not. The breakfast was very good with lots of options for everyone. We walked from here to the Duomo di Milano in about 25-30 minutes and we also used the subway system which is two minutes away on foot so easily accessible if someone prefers not to walk. Lots of restaurants on the streets around this hotel and there is a lobby bar with a nice place to sit and enjoy your drink. We would come back!

    We stayed here on two separate occasions. The first time our room was situated at the rear of the hotel and the second time unfortunately we were put into the front of the hotel. This makes a massive difference as the room to the front is so noisy.The teams and the cars are relentless.The hotel won't turn on the air conditioning in March and the rooms are too warm. Overall not a nice experience.The breakfast is ok. Tinned fruit and no decent bread. The waiter has a look of sour milk on his face, he needs to lighten up a bit. It's a breakfast area not a military camp.Overall Marconi is a decent enough hotel. But if they allocated you a room at the front of the property, then go elsewhere.
