Location

This hotel is located in a residential area at the heart of Milan only a few minutes walk from the exhibition centre. A variety of traditional shops, bars and restaurants surround the hotel building and can easily be reached on foot. The nearest stop for public transport is about barely 200 m from the hotel. The main train station is some 8 km away from the hotel. Milan-Linate Airport is 20 km, whilst Milan-Malpensa lies 50 km from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has 313 rooms and 10 suites, which are located on 7 storeys and are reachable by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services such as a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available.     Worst hotel in Milan. Please do not stay here, even if they are offering to pay for your room.The staff do not care about the guest and will lie about things committed.Worst hotel experience, from service to the quality of the room to breakfast.We think the Marriott should re-evaluate its decision to have its brand name attached to this property, especially to this team of hospitality professionals.     Very Disappointing Experience

    I had a very disappointing experience at the Milan Marriott Hotel.As a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite member, I had a confirmed suite upgrade prior to arrival. Even one hour before check-in, the suite was still showing as available. However, upon arrival, I was informed that the suite was no longer available and my room was downgraded.What made this worse was the inconsistent explanations from the staff. First, I was told it was due to my extended stay, then I was told the suite was under maintenance.This lack of transparency and poor handling was extremely frustrating. Additionally, this put me in a very difficult situation as I had no alternative options due to high demand during Milan Fashion Week.On top of that, I did not receive any recognition or benefits of my Platinum Elite status, and there was no effort made to compensate or assist.Overall, this experience did not reflect Marriott standards at all.     Renovated, with very, very nice rooms.

    PROs: wonderful room furnitures and decore. They left behind the past look for good.Very good and complete buffet breakfast. Nice evening dining menu. Kind personnel at check in and in the dining room, both at breakfast and dinner. Quiet street. Great sleep quality.CONs: the location will force you to get a car to move downtown.

    Friendly and helpful staff. Average location, under construction/renovation, decent buffet, average size rooms, no dining service when I was there for the F1 Monza GP. I was not made aware that the hotel was under renovation. Plenty of places to eat around and a grocery store across the street.
