  Beware if you need to change your plans

  I booked a room via Expedia with this hotel but had to change our dates and I explained the reason in a message to the hotel. Received a curt reply to contact Expedia for the request and then I followed up with a phone call to the hotel. The man who answered the phone was not interested in discussing a revised booking with me and also said it is up to Expedia and not the responsibility of the hotel to negotiate a change of date. I contacted Expedia who then explained it is at the hotel's discretion and that the property manager would not make an exception and agree to a change of date 'after multiple tries' on their part. Why pretend it is necessary to contact the booking company when the hotel is ultimately refusing a reasonable request that will cost them nothing?

  Great hotel located within walking distance to Loretto metro station. Staff were very friendly (also really helpful in storing luggage etc), rooms were spotless, and the perfect size for what I needed. Highly recommend!

  Good hotel, have nothing to complain about. It was possible to leave our luggage there after check out, bathroom was big, internet working. Only disappointment was the air conditioning. The guy at the reception said that it was automatic and would start working from alone when it is too hot. Obviously we have different opinions on what is hot or not. So we would have liked to use it to have a better temperature in the room. Good connection with metro and walkable distance to the train/bus station (around 17 min on foot).

  This is a very basic hotel and if you’re on a budget and happy to be out of town with a good 8min walk to the metro, this is your place. It takes around 8 stops to get into the city which gives you a bit of an idea how far out you are. Beds were comfy, shower pressure fine however you wouldn’t want to be on the large side, as you would find difficulty getting in shower cubicle. All in all, do-able but wouldn’t rush back. Wasn’t the best area.

  The staff were polite and attentive at all times.Overall the room had the essential amenities and was clean. Complimentary There was a lack of attention to detail in the cleanliness of the room; the shower seal black with mould. Sheets were clean, however the towels were not fluffly, in fact these were very thin.The room is on the compact size, and it is clear in the photos. I accept that this a hotel of the 'budget' kind.The air conditioning did not function. The average outside high temperate on the forecast was 28-30 degrees Centigrade over the four to five days. We did not make a complaint about this as lacked the confidence.The location of the hotel means that it is in close proximity to Piola Metro Station on M2 . There are a number of supermarkets, including Pam Panorama a few meters away.I did not get a good night sleep on any of the five nights. The sirens and noises from the ambulances are a regular occurrence. The traffic noise, car horns are also a regular occurrence as drivers do not often 'go' on the green signal... and the Milanese are known for their impatience. My written request on the booking for a top floor room and an explanation about suffering from Migraine was ultimately not accommodated. My partner explained that the bed was great; firm and very comfortable.I have stayed many times on many years in Milano, but it is sad to say that we did not enjoy this trip.I therefore cannot recommend a stay in this hotel.
