Location

The hotel is located at the heart of Milan in the Porta Venezia and Corso Buenos Aires district, near the Central Station and only a short drive from Milan's City trade centre. The Fair Rho-Pero is near the underground stop Porta Venezia on the Red Line which goes to the Fair district. Good links to the main train station, as well as Linate and Malpensa airports are available.

Facility

103 non-smoking rooms are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services such as a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The hotel offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee).     The hotel is nice. The rooms are small but in a good position near lots of restaurants and 15 minute walk to Centrale Station Our stay was enhanced due to Virgina a delightful staff member. She went out her way to assist us with our faulty air conditioner and several other issues. Her bright smile and helpfulness was just what we needed after a long flight. All the staff were pleasant and helpful.

    Close to Corso Buenos Aires (and to the Porta Venezia metro station) this little gem is tucked inside Porta Venezia. It has access to multiple restaurants (including its own), a nice garden if you need to spend some time away from the bustle of the city, but close enough to downtown you can get there walking or, as mentioned earlier, taking the Porta Venezia metro to the Duomo area. The staff is incredible, and it meets all the marks in an NH hotel. The shower could've used a better door/curtain though, no matter how hard I tried water splashed everywhere.

    Scandalous treatment of children on a wronggoing schooltrip.

    My daughter and her classmates (age 17) were on on a schooltrip to Rome. On the way back home they needed to transfer on a trainstation in Bologna. Half of the class and their teachers were out of the train when suddenly the doors closed and the train drove further to Milan with my daughter and 10 other children. They were now in the middle of the night without an adult in Milan. Gladly a teacher booked a couple of rooms at the NH Machiavelli hotel and they managed to get there. But, the hotel didn't let them stay at the hotel because they were under 18 and were without the company of an adult. I send an email with my approval and a copy of my passport to let them stay for a couple of hours in the hotel, but still they were kicked out of the hotel because of the rules. Shame on you to send children out on the street in the middle of the night. When your children were here in the same position in my country I would not treat them the way you did. It's a pity you can't give zero stars.
