  Top staff/Stylish oasis in Milano

  I would like to express my admiration by the level of service in NYX Leonardo hotel in Milano. We arrived long before the check in time, very tired after overnight trip but hotel, in particular Amir at reception, did their best to facilitate our comfortable early check in.Thanks to his efforts our room was prepared in the quickest possible time and all our requirements expressed earlier, such as twin beds, higher floor, quietness, etc. were met. Amir demonstrated top level of service responding to all our queries starting from location and not excluded by leisure. It’s so important for guest in new hectic city to find reliable oasis were he can relax, switch off and outsource the solutions.This stylish hotel has very central strategic location just in front of railway station and 4 stops away from Doumo that makes the hotel best choice in Milano. Great breakfast with variety of choices for everyone. Additionally top professional staff as Amir decorates the stay in the city and it’s real bonus. Definitely YES to Leonardo chain who really cares for guests🔱PS My experience proved how wise was my decision to join Leonardo Advantage club - membership leads to little surprises for its members)

  €372 for a sleepless night and zero hospitality

  A complete failure of basic hospitality at NYX Hotel Milan.We arrived late at night with our two children for a simple overnight stop in Milan before travelling again the next morning. After a long journey, all we needed was a smooth check-in and a proper night’s sleep.Before arrival, the hotel had confirmed both a sofa bed for our child and a baby cot. Yet when we entered the room at 11pm, there was absolutely nothing prepared for our children.We then had to call reception three times and wait 30 minutes before someone finally came to the room, only to realise they thought we needed just a baby cot. We had to explain everything all over again: we needed both a baby cot and a child’s bed, exactly as previously confirmed by the hotel.Another 30 minutes passed, along with complaints at reception, before the hotel finally acted. Meanwhile, our exhausted children, after a long day of travelling, simply could not cope anymore.The most shocking part was a receptionist openly telling us he did not care and that it was “not his problem” if our children did not have beds.The room itself was also disappointing: not very clean and clearly not in great condition. And yes, of course, this is a cold, characterless business hotel next to the station, but at least that part was already obvious from the photos.Calling this a “suite” at €372 per night without breakfast is honestly scandalous.A message for management: before investing in artwork for the lobby and photo booths, perhaps focus on the absolute basics of hospitality first.The only positive points were the kind doorman and the staff member who eventually installed the children’s beds in the room. He clearly was not at fault and simply had never received the correct information.

  Very convenient to train station

  A quick 5 minute walk from the train station. Room was comfortable, breakfast was good quality and had variety. The Porters at the Hotel are lovely and friendly, always saying hello to all guests.   Modern hotel right next to Milano Centrale.

  The hotel is in a great location, literally across the street from the main railroad station. Using the metro stop there or the streetcars you can go easily anywhere in the MIlan area. Many neighborhoods located near a large railroad station are very sleazy; this one was not, a pleasant place to stroll, with a large number of decent, moderately priced restaurants.The room was a good size, especially by European standards, very modern, nicely furnished. The bathroom was new with excellent facilities, including a shower with good water pressure. The room was well and brightly lit; many outlets; easily accessible and very functional hotel Wifi, and a modern HD TV, with a lot of channels, mostly in Italian.Hotel staff were businesslike and efficient. We did not try the breakfast buffet; in view of the many cafes in the neighborhood and at the railroad station there was no reason to.
