Don’t fall for it! This hotel is attached to a charming restaurant. The majority of the high reviews HAVE to be for that. What is less than “bare bones”? This place. It’s old and not in the charming Italian way. Air condition isn’t controlled by you in your room evidently. You are LITERALLY in the flight path. It’s not THAT close to the airport (20 minute shuttle). Our bidet didn’t work …. No sign… find out the hard way! MISERABLE!!!!!

2 Reviews here - Restaurant and HotelRestaurant: wow, by far the best pizza we had during our entire trip to Italy and yes we ate a lot of pizza. Make sure to have a reservation for it's very busy. Hotel: Ok... pros - great free shuttle service to and from MXP. They're super fast to respond to email and to calls. Front desk was friendly, and every staff we encountered spoke good English which was a nice bonus. Cons - the rooms... uggghhhh the pictures were very very deceiving. I guess what did I expect for an airport hotel but the rooms were so scary. I couldn't even take photos to post because I don't want to re-see the room again LOL. The sheets were clean at least and nice cold AC, but the bathroom was so scary. The room was so outdated and cracks in the wall and it felt more like a hostel than a hotel. If the place had a renovation I'm sure it'd be nice but just be warned, unless we happened to be placed in an old room, it did NOT look like any of the photos advertised. So choose your adventure if you want to stay here or not.

Have stayed here 5 times. Extremely convenient to MXP via hotel shuttle. Great restaurant on premises. Rooms are comfortable and staff is great. Very fair pricing. Will always stay here when flying in or out of Milan.

We stayed one night before leaving via Milan Marpensa. Charming clean, comfortable rooms, excellent and friendly staff. Great location and free early morning airport shuttle. Don't miss the restaurant, it is outstanding and deservedly busy for dinner.

Band playing.... no sleep!

This hotel advertises services for people flying out of Malpensa. They had a band playing preventing us from getting sleep for a 5:30 start to a long travel day. They need to choose whether to be the local hot spot or cater to their hotel guests. They cannot do both! We decided to host live music, which played from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM, limiting the entertainment to ensure a quiet environment for our guests to rest.We stopped the music at 10:30 PM specifically to allow our guests to sleep peacefully. It is truly unfortunate to receive such a negative review for an event that, while festive, was planned with the utmost care. Our hotel and restaurant are highly appreciated, as evidenced by the thousands of positive reviews we have received.We would have been happy to address the situation during your stay. If needed, we could have offered you a quieter room, perhaps on the third floor, away from the music.
