    Renovated Rooms but Lacking Customer Service

    This hotel is extremely convenient if you plan to go to an event at Unipol Forum. Our room was also recently renovated and much nicer than the images on the website. However, the customer service at this hotel was lacking. The phones in our room didn’t work and we asked the front desk twice to resolve this matter so we could order room service, but they never did. The room was also unbearably hot (over 85 degF). We were told this was due to a law in Italy where hotels can’t use air conditioning in April, however, all of the shared spaces in the hotel were a comfortable temperature, despite it essentially being a greenhouse because of all the windows. The front desk’s solution was for us to open the windows, which didn’t do much to cool the room and just let in mosquitos. After asking a few times, they finally gave us a portable fan which was better than nothing. This hotel has potential and I’m sure is much more pleasant during other months, but our stay was uncomfortable.

    Dishonesty of missing item and substandard room quality

    Sadly our experience was not good!The highlight of our one night stay on a Saturday in outskirts of Milan was that on checking out we left a phone charger in our room. When we asked the reception to check- we were told the room cleaner did not find any. We know that we definitely did not pack it so it definitely went astray.Apart from that, the shower facility had an empty shower gel bottle and the shower glass door frame was faulty- the bottom seal was off the door track. A plug in mosquito repellent was provided but did not fit into the room socket.For a 4 star hotel we would also have expected at least a kettle and some teabags- none were provided. Room decor was also very industrial and not attractive.

    Good for Unipol Forum, let down as a hotel overall.

    Had high hopes being the only hotel we stayed in during 2 weeks in Italy. We stayed here as it was close to the Unipol Forum and walking distance was perfect. Beyond the practicality of the location it was horrible. The staff were really very dry and unhelpful, I also watched on as they lost their temper with other guests who were checking in. The house keeping staff however went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. The room itself was a decent size but the walls were lined with padded fabric. I have a dust allergy so had I been aware of this we would not have booked. The room was impossible to keep warm with outside temp dropping to 1 degree. There was a ducted air conditioner which when even set at 29 still was blowing cold air. It was also dusty and needed to be cleaned. For a 4 star we expected a more comfortable bed than the other 2 star BnBs we had stayed in. It also wasn’t the cheapest of our stays so overall disappointing. Also don’t waste your time with the restaurant, limited menu, mostly re heat from what we could tell. Undercooked pasta which was a shame for Italy.

    What a transformation!

    After staying here first earlier in the year, the rooms were tired and dated. Credit to the hotel, they have recognised this and have transformed the rooms; and what an update!The rooms now have a modern luxurious feel. Superb shower and modern fittings. The rooms are well equipped with contemporary fittings, including SKY tv. There is a mini-bar hidden in the cupboards. Unfortunately, there is no list of how much the items in the mini-bar are. The mini-bar did not get replenished on a daily basis either.No iron or ironing board included as standard. However, this is simply supplied after requesting from reception. Also, no tea or coffee facilities available within the room.

    Really nice break

    We were really pleased with this hotel, we had an executive room I think which was spacious with great aircon. Bed super comfortable and a large tv with a variety of channels. It was very handy for the metro and we enjoyed an afternoon and evening in Milan. We enjoyed the breakfast which had a good selection of items.Also good that the hotel offers free parking.
