Location

This elegant hotel is located directly on the Corso Buenos Aires. It takes just a few minutes by foot to reach the centre of Milan with its scores of shops and attractions, including the cities most spectacular tourist sites. The underground station Lima is located immediately in front of the hotel. It is well worth taking a trip to the coast which lies some 80 km away.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1890. Guests have a choice of 198 non-smoking rooms, including 3 apartments, 32 single rooms and 152 double rooms, located in two 7-storey buildings with lifts. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a TV room, a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Rooms

A turndown service provides guests with additional comfort in the evening hours. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a bidet. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror, bathrobes and a telephone are available for daily use. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms are also available. The hotel has family rooms and smoking rooms.

While the adults swim a few laps in the indoor pool, children can splash around in the kids' pools.     Very poor stay, hot room no ac in summer

    We stayed for 2 nights in the hotel.. Rooms were spacious and bathrooms were clean and big. Room staff greeted as well and gave us the spa kit that came along with the package. However weather in milan was hot around 25c but there was no ac in the room. No fan either. Upon asking we were told that they are not allowed to start ac as per Milan City regulations. They had no fan either and we were asked to keep the windows open. Our room was aside the city view and it was already very noisy due to traffic in the road throughout the night. Very poor quality of sleep and room was of very old decor and no ventilation at all. There were no milk sachets and the water bottle was not kept down the 2bd night. Staff were helpful to give us water and milk when asked. Overall the stay was not good because of the ac and room temperature..     I was not given the room I booked on arrival which i did raise with the front desk. The room i got was small, dirty and had no air con. The cleaning after that was good and the location is terrific. The gym is small and there is only one treadmill but luckily there was no que. Nice having the pool, sauna and steam room but no towel or robes provided.     A Great Olympics and Fashion Week Experience

    This hotel is in the perfect location to explore central Milan, steps from the metro. We stayed two weeks for the Olympic games and fashion week. Our junior suite was exactly the modern room we were promised. True, the building is a classic so the halls are not straight and wide, but you should chose a hotel based on its hallways! The staff were welcoming each and every time we stepped in from our daily adventure. The showers were hot, with solid water pressure. The rooms were kept clean and well stocked. The elevators were always available, and were welcome, modern upgrades. We loved our experience and will definitely recommend Una Hotels and this property in particular to all that ask!     Travelled as a couple. We were on the,5th floor still quite noisy. Unfortunately someone moved into the room next door 523 and,were very selfish and noisy banging doors etc my husband,asked reception to have,a,word with them but I doubt they did. On xmas,day the bar didn't open until 3.30 which seemed,strange,when people wanted,a,drink to celebrate. Really nice,clean hotel but the staff need to be a bit more accommodating towards the,guests.     Disappointing stay, Below expectations

    Stayed Sunday 7th January in a small first floor room (119). The reception area looks smart, but that is where the good impressions end. The room felt tired and poorly equipped. No television remote, no tea or coffee making facilities. We had to call reception to address these basics, then chase again for milk, and when refreshments finally arrived, there was no breakfast tea.The spa facilities were decent, but we had to fetch extra towels from reception ourselves. Other guests had dressing gowns and slippers but ours were either missing or never provided or not offered by reception.Lower floor rooms suffer from constant rumbling as the metro passes underneath. Not ideal for a restful stay.Breakfast was a disaster. The dining room was packed, the toaster broke down due to an electrical fault, and by the time it was repaired, we had missed our chance for toast. The scrambled eggs were grey and smelled off so we gave them a wide berth.Reception staff were indifferent throughout, showing little interest in resolving any of our concerns.Not a hotel I would choose again.
