    Definitely not 4star. The staff were pleasant and helpful but the quality of the meals was poor. Cold , tasteless food was served up cold or Luke warm. When I complained to the rep she replied that she ate there every night meaning she thought the standard was acceptable. We could not cut any meat from what looked like a chicken wing, described as “skewer meat” . When I finally saw red and complained I was offered a free bottle of wine! This does not solve the serious issues in the kitchen. Do not consider this hotel unless you prefer inferior, tasteless food.     A culinary nightmare!!!

    Hotel itself ok - but not 4 star. Dinner every night was dreadful- never experienced meals of this standard anywhere on holiday. Mixed grill you would not give to your dog!! Everything grim- cold - overcooked- just awful- many many complaints.     Disappointing

    Although the ground floor was as you would expect at a 4*hotel the rooms and the dinners were disappointing. My room was small and in need of attention. The outer casing on the hairdryer (which I was expected to use in the bathroom) was broken. It was replaced promptly but not tested.     A friendly hotel

    We stayed in this hotel as part of a Newmarket tour. i thought the hotel was charming, the staff really friendly especially in the restaurant and bar area. Our room was spacious, clean and with a generous balcony. I dont recognise the other reviews about the food, there was plenty of choice and the dinners hot. The only disappointmnent for me was the lack of channels on the tv and lack of instructions in the room period.     28 degrees celcius in my room. I couldn't get the air con to turn on.Rang reception for help and they informed me the turn off all aircons to the rooms during low season and if i didn't like it... to open a window.Do yourselves a favour, and stay anywhere else!
