  Recomendable for a city visit

  The Palazzo is very centrally situated, in the unique historic center and close to public transportation. Our room in the top floor was very quiet, spacy and reachable by lift. However, to get to the lift, you have to carry the luggage a few steps. The breakfast was fine and the room very traditional fitting to the palazzo building. The staff was extremely helpful, e.g. they informed us about the traffic restrictions due to the visit of the pope.

  A hotel in a great location with excellent service.

  A hotel in a great location with fantastic service. The breakfast was excellent and the room a good size and clean. It had most things but a lack of tea / coffee making facilities in room, no in hotel restaurant and only a small bar for the price of the hotel was why I gave 4 stars and not 5.

  Luxury hotel close to historic centre of Naples

  Stayed at Hotel Palazzo Decumani in May for 6 nights. It is very centrally located in the Historic Centre close to Spaccanapoli where there are lots of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. From here, you can easily access the historic sights of Naples. We walked everywhere. The hotel has the most amazing marble central staircase. Reception staff are all so helpful. Barbara was exceptional - helped us settle into our room, showed us on a map local places to visit and gave suggestions of where to eat. Our twin room was amazing. Had everything we could have wanted. Air conditioned, soundproof, safe, mini bar, full length mirror, loads of storage, easy chair and chaise-type bench seat. The buffet style breakfast had lots to choose from - all freshly prepared except for tinned fruit cocktail. Staff were attentive. Coffees had to be ordered - no machine. There was a bar open in the evening from 9.30pm but we didn't go so can't comment. Overall, the hotel was very clean and rooms were cleaned daily and towels replaced regularly as requested. My friend found the hairdryer heavy to use for blowdrying and too powerful for fine hair even on low settings. I would highly recommend this hotel. We booked with them directly for the best price.

  Charming hotel in historic part of Naples

  A very charming hotel in the heart of the historic district with easy access to shopping, attractions and food - great pizza right across the street. Room was clean and spacious and staff was very welcoming and helpful. Would stay again if ever in Naples again.

  The hotel is very well located in the historic area of Naples. The lobby and room were very clean and well appointed. I loved the black out drapes and the room was very quiet and the bed was comfortable. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.I do think there could be improvements outside the hotel. The hotel is on a small piazza and it seemed very dirty/dingy, but then Naples is a very gritty city. Maybe just couple planters with flowers.... Also the chains in front of the hotel are very difficult to see and are a tripping hazard. Breakfast was a good mix of food, the best was the fresh mode quiche, focaccia and cakes. It would be nice if the wifi worked in the breakfast room, but perhaps the hotel does not want guests to linger....
