  First tip if you’re planning a visit to Naples. Stay in Vomero if you can. It is a lovely quieter haven from the hustle and bustle of the central city. Second tip is find and stay in this lovely little hotel. It is situated on the fifth floor of an old building but step out of the lift and you are immediately struck by the fresh modern decor. Everywhere is spotlessly clean, with friendly welcoming staff effortlessly making you feel welcome. Our room was to a very high standard with all comforts provided. The shower was exceptional.The breakfast has all you need to set you up for days of exploring. Would not hesitate to recommend to all.

  In a gritty, fun city, this is a good hotel in a nice neighborhood with excellent access to public transport to the heart of Naples. A+ breakfast.

  Hotel Cimarosa was not as advertised

  I booked a boutique hotel, and got a run-down guesthouse room. On arrival we took three trips up the tiny elevator to the 5th floor for check-in, which looked nice. After check-in we were escorted out of the building, to a different elevator, and back into a 3rd floor room. Not only did the room no longer match the pictures, but there was no air conditioning (made a big show of setting the thermostat on a Dyson fan which they claimed was air conditioning, then admitted there was none), I killed cockroaches in the bathroom, the floor was filthy, there were numerous small things broken like a cabinet door with a broken latch and the sink drain you had to hold up by hand, and the motion sensor entry light went on at 4 am for no reason. The "beds" were hard futon mattresses on a hard platform. On the plus side the daytime staff was nice and breakfast was OK. Despite having prepaid for three nights, I chose to book another hotel rather than stay another night being miserable at Hotel Cimarosa. Unrelated to the particular room, do NOT use this hotel if you have limited mobility. We managed to get my wife's wheelchair in by carrying it up stairs to the elevator and folding it to fit in, but there is no access if you can't do stairs. Abbiamo fatto i nostri controlli e confermiamo che il giorno 09.06.2025 fino alle ore 18:00 del 07.06.2025 abbiamo avuto problemi con il motore dell'aria condizionata e ci dispiace tantissimo perchè sappiamo quanto sia importante per voi, abbiamo cercato di metterci subito a disposizione fornendole un Dyson che evidentemente non è bastato. Ricordiamo benissimo che siete andati via il giorno seguente ma ci era stato riferito dalla Signora che era solo per problemi di famiglia e che dovevate rientrare a casa e non per altro, infatti avevamo proposto un cambio camera dove l'aria condizionata era perfettamente funzionante. La camera assegnata era esattamente quella prenotata e anche le foto corrispondevano a quella tipologia, non fuori dalla struttura come da Lei menzionato ma sempre all'interno della stessa al 1° piano ( la struttura ha più piani ). E' sempre consigliato verificare prima della prenotazione se la struttura in quel determinato periodo abbia a disposizione camere per disabili così da potervi agevolare e garantirvi il massimo confort possibile sia in camera che per gli spostamenti. I letti della camera erano composti da: Letto matrimoniale King size (non futon come da Lei scritto) con materassi spessi oltre 21 cm più divano letto con topper per garantire il massimo confort. La luce di cortesia si accende quando ci sono movimenti in camera nei pressi della discesa che divide l'ingresso dalla zona notte per motivi di sicurezza per evitare cadute. Il tappo lavandino ha un sistema a "molla" bisogna pigiare per aprirlo e pigiare nuovamente per chiuderlo. Crediamo fermamente che parlando con i ragazzi della reception ed esponendo tutti questi punti si poteva trovare sicuramente una soluzione per garantirle un ottimo soggiorno.   Excellent location; amazing staff

  I stayed here in 2023 when I was visiting my family. They had suggested this area. I came back with my sister and BIL. Also my adult kids stayed there one night. Vomero is lovely, lively, and centrally located. It's really a hidden gem. The staff really makes the difference. Manuel at the front desk was communicative and very helpful. He was able to accommodate our requests for room location. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. I would go back there again if I'm visiting Naples. We were able to walk around the neighborhood for shopping, food, and people watching. The Funicular is conveniently located around the corner. You can reach the Palazzo del Plebiscito easily and walk along the water. From the hotel, there are many lovely visita points. Also check out Villa Floridiana. One tip is because Vomero is on a hill, it's easy to get turned around and end up on the wrong street. Use landmarks to keep track!

  Our group of seven recently stayed at Hotel Cimarosa, and we all had a fantastic experience! The hotel staff welcomed us warmly. The rooms were spacious, exceptionally clean, and beautifully designed, which made our stay extra comfortable.The breakfast each morning was pretty good, with a wide selection to suit everyone’s tastes – it was the perfect start to our days.The service from the staff was outstanding; they were attentive and responsive to our needs, going above and beyond to make sure our group had a smooth, enjoyable stay. We would highly recommend Hotel Cimarosa to anyone visiting the area, and we look forward to returning in the future. Thank you for such a memorable experience!
