  Perfect location and good serice.

  This is a great hotel. We were looking for a centrally located place to base ourselves, close to the historic centre and close to the coast/port (for a trip to Sorrento). This hotel came up, and we were blown away by how perfectly located it is. A 5-minute walk and you're in the historic central area, and loads of great restaurants. 5-10 minutes to the port for ferries everywhere, and the fantastic castle. The rooms were quiet, clean and comfy- they had a kettle, etc., so no complaints at all. The only minor issue is that the breakfast room (inside area) is very small; there are lots of tables outside, but with it being a bit nippy in the morning, we wanted to sit inside, and you were sitting on top of each other a bit, but not a huge issue.

  Tourist scam , rude disgusting and immoral Receptionst

  ****Warning from a British consultant Doctor about this scam hotel scamming tourists Very rude mean , unprofessional Receptionst ( D) . I have extensive  travel experience . I am a member at International brands worldwide an Intercontinental Ambassador , Millennium prestige member , Hilton member , Accor , Marriott and  I prefer. However , I stay often at 4 stars hotels as well. I booked a week before arrival from London and requested a top floor room with a nice city view . Hotel responded by e-mail that my request was approved , I thanked them . I arrived to find a room facing a dirty internal wall ( picture below ) . I informed the receptionist and showed her the confirmation from the hotel but she was very defensive , not apologetic. Furthermore , she refused that I speak to the hotel manager or calling him for a solution. I decided to leave to another hotel especially that she was very rude, loud and vulgar . After I mentioned that I will get them the police for scamming tourists , eventually they issued a full refund. Never experienced any scam or rude disgusting behavior like that in my life .   I chose Culture Hotel based on the positive reviews, but unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. To be clear, the staff were absolutely lovely—friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. My issue lies entirely with the accommodations themselves.The hotel felt more like a hostel, even considering the relatively affordable price. The room lacked comfort and quality. Under the sheets, there was some kind of plastic mattress cover that reminded me of the ones I used when my kids were potty training. Every time I moved, the sheets would shift, and that unpleasant plasticky crinkle sound made it hard to sleep.The bathroom was another major letdown. The shower had both an overhead fixture and a handheld hose, but the switch to use overhead shower was broken. I had to manage my entire shower with one hand while holding the hose with the other—not ideal. Even worse, there was visible mold and some other unsightly grime on the shower rails.In the end, while the staff were great, the condition of the facilities made this stay uncomfortable. I would not choose to stay at this hotel again.

  Very comfortable and central

  This hotel became one of my favorite hotels because it was very comfortable ( beds and bathroom) and efficiently decorated, nothing fancy but a spacious room with high ceilings and ample place to put our two suitcases. There was a kettle and cups, tea and coffee ( the water in the fridge isn’t free by the way). The bathroom items like shampoo, toilet paper were replenished every day. Breakfast is at the top floor and would be nice in the summer but we stayed in the hotel in December and ate inside. The quality and variety of the food was good. Their coffee was especially good. There is an elevator going to this floor. The supermarket next door is an asset as well.The hotel is close to the old town district and also the shopping street Toledo, and also not too far from the Plebiscito Square and the San Carlo Opera House.The staff is also very good and helpful.

  Nice mid range hotel, but not the best area

  Arrived at hotel and warm welcome from reception even though nearly 23.00Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Hotel was clean as was our room. Nice cold free waters in the fridge. Was quiet throughout the night and a solid nights sleep was had.Breakfast was on the rooftop. Nice area. Breakfast was ok but would have been better if the staff refreshed the hot breakfast items, unfortunately they did not. Other than that it was a decent breakfast.Only a 12 minute walk to the ferry port but the surrounding area of the hotel is not the best.
