  Good hotel for what you pay.

  This hotel is next to the train and bus station, got the bus from the airport and the hotel was a 2 minute walk, I was using this area for both the train station and tube, the hotel staff were good, nice and friendly, the rooms were pretty good size, breakfast gave you a good start to the day. Left my bag on the last day because my flight was later that evening, so no need to carry it around and charged my phone up before I left, the area outside the hotel is not the greatest but was safe, like all train stations people are coming and going so pretty busy, always police around the area but they are all over the city.

  DON'T THINK ABOUT BOOKING HERE – here is why!• Location/Area: We knew going that the area is not the best. It is close to Napoli Centrale but there are many other better hotels around that area. The Area is a dump. The street the hotel is located is filthy, noisy and full of rubbish. The area didn’t seem safe at all.• Room condition: Pictures shown must be really old as they do not reflect the true situation. Bleach strong enough to sting your eyes masked the smell of mould, although did not hide the mould growing up the bedroom wall. Very small bed.• Service/Staff: TERRIBLE – Front Desk – Even though we had the booking from Booking.com, the guy (Najeeb) refused to check us in. He told us that the hotel is full and we should come the next day. You could smell alcohol on his breath, and he was completely intoxicated and inebriated. He was rude and a male chauvinist. The manager was initially understanding but was argumentative when we voiced our concerns. The cleaning staff / breakfast staff were very loud and shouting/talking loud across from the corridor. • Amenities: There was no bathroom to use while we are waiting to get checked in and/or once you check out. There was no working elevator and staircase to the hotel was filthy and smelled of urine. Do yourself a favour and book somewhere else. This hotel should definitely not be on sites like Expedia, Booking.com (booking.com should evaluate the ranking as well as this hotel doesn’t deserve a 7.2 rating at all).   I'm going to confirm what many other guests already commented. This hotel is a scam, they show you photos of the best room they have and you end up in a completely different one. I booked a double room for two adults fooled by the pictures and the overall score (7.3) on booking.com, When I arrived I was offered a tiny room with a large single bed, which they claimed was a double (check the attached photo) and when I complained they offered me a room with a bunk bed! The hotel has 3 stars but it deserves 1. The bathroom is tiny and stinks of sewage, the sound insulation doesn't exist and you can hear all the guests arriving, banging the doors etc. There was a safe in the room which wasn't even attached to the wall, the breakfast included was poor. On top of that the hotel is located in one of the dodgiest areas in the city. The positive things - it's near the central station, but with a good metro system in the city it's not a big deal. I was also charged additionally 3,5€ per day per person as a tourist tax, apparently it is a price for a 4 star hotel, a 3 star should charge 2,5€.

  When arriving at the hotel, they refused to give my room, saying "is all complete" and "is too late". Obviously, they took the money from the reservation without refund. They are simply criminals, is not a hotel. Be careful and avoid the place.
