This hotel is located in the centre of Naples, at the heart of the famous Santa Lucia district and directly beside the sea. Many of the city's top tourist attractions including Marinaro castle, the Kastell dell Ovo as well as the exclusive theatre and yachting clubs are also within a stone's throw of the hotel. A diverse range of shops, bars as well as public transport links are all just a few paces from the hotel. Naples airport is 10 km from the hotel.

Great place to stay in Naples!

The Rex is in a great location in Naples, close to the coast and just a 15-20 minute to the historic central areas.A nice welcome at reception with plenty of information given about the local area and recommendations of where to visit.Comfortable bedroom and a small breakfast room with a selection of local pastries etc.We enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation to stay again.

We were at this hotel as part of a tour. We arrived very early and were able to get cleaned up and they stored our luggage until our room was ready. We enjoyed sitting out front drinking our coffee. It was a prefect one night stay.

I love this hotel. I can rely on a very clean comfortable room with great linens and great service. The variety of people at the front desk including Dionysius, could not be more kind and helpful . The young men at breakfast and helping with luggage are efficient and hardworking as they keep this place spotless. It’s my choice for my family and friend whenever I come to Italy. Spent a week with the family in this hotel, perfectly located near the lungomare of Naples, few steps from several main city highlights. It's a family owned business, and the owners are great and passionate at their job. They were extremely helpful and responded to our needs (we were with a baby). Breakfast was amazing. Highly recommended!

Not a lot of accommodation that comes up with this level of satisfaction. Hotel Rex was perfect in every way: family run with a gracious, and helpful owner; immaculate, quiet, well-supplied rooms; excellent breakfast; friendly and helpful staff. The hotel offers various levels in rooms, so you have a choice.Good restaurants and amenities nearby. The hotel is well located, but the nearest Metro stop was somewhat distant. Not a problem for us. It’s a good, safe neighbourhood…and less than a block from a walkable waterfront.Due to lack of room availability (which we were aware of) the Rex moved us to a sister hotel. Although it proved to be clean and also well-run, we weren’t initially enamoured with the location. So wrong…it was in what we called a “real” part of Naples. Close to the University and full of life! No regrets, and also a good stay.
