    Unless you have no option - avoid this hotel

    Booked via Hotwire. Supposedly a 4* hotel in a convenient location in Naploi. We came for just one night and had anticipated that we’d be able to park our car and take a stroll into town to get some dinner. In reality we locked our bedroom door and didn’t leave until we checked out.This hotel is NOT located in a convenient area to explore Naploi at night or by foot. By the state of the surrounding buildings (and the exterior of the hotel itself) it’s clearly a rough and rundown area. We had no desire to explore further than our room.The room itself was a joke. At least it made us laugh. We selected the upgrade that has a hot tub but didn’t expect to be staying in what is the closest thing to a ‘nocturnal pleasure den’ I have ever been in, complete with misaligned mirror over the bed and disco lights (I’d not be surprised if I found out you can pay for this room by the hour). The hot tub itself is in the actual bedroom; enough said. We didn’t use it.The room was clean, but that’s about as good as it got. The shower looks impressive until you try to actually use it. If you want hot water there is no pressure so forget the spar jets, the thing just dribbles.The mini bar contained a bottle of water and a Fanta. There was a kettle but no coffee and no milk.The high speed WiFi doesn’t work, which may seem like a rather trivial thing to mention but the tiny TV only shows programming in Italian and because we were going no where we couldn’t even watch NetFlix on our own devices.This is NOT a 4* hotel. To claim it is, is a property miss-discription boadering on deception. At best we’d give this 2*.We didn’t stay for the included breakfast, we left and will never be back.

    Terrible Hotel Unsafe Never Again

    BUYER BEWARE this hotel is terrible! I got it on Hotwire last minute in Naples assuming it would be near the town. I was with my mother. The hotel is a 30 minute plus metro ride away and the hotel it self is a 25 minute walk from the closest metro station. It is also in a terrible part of town that is unsafe for any tourist especially with family. The hotel doesn’t make any of this clear. It also boasts a 4 star rating but the outside is actually disgusting. You are in a scary neighborhood and the building is decrepit. We were so scared we never got out of the taxi and instead have the taxi bring us back to Naples station and we got a refund. Please please please DO NOT go to this hotel if you are a tourist in Naples. Spend a few extra dollars, stay in town, and thank me later.

    We'd had everything we were looking for. Close to Comicon, close to best pizza, view to the zoo and giraffes from hotel's terrasse, very kind stuff, very domestic feeling...My son considers it as a second home...tells everything. We have already booked next April :)

    Very nice hotel but NO HOT WATER

    Hotel ís very nice. All is very good, full 3 stars except there is no hot water. When we (bus with 50 people) arrived, there was hot water for half an hour and no more until morning, not even varm so I could not get a shower and had to wash myself in parts over the sink with cold water. We called the reception 3 times and the receptionist told us to open hot water and wait, then that he is busy and third time he hanged the phone on us. I waited of couse but they obviously did ndnt wanted to turn the heater on. Realy bad service and behaviour towards the guests. It is a real shame because hotel is very nice and all the facilities are good, brekfast is also good but because of bad servíce and NO HOT water this hotel is almost useless. Maybe it is better if you come by car alone and there are no many guests, but if you come with the bus/large group then you forget shower or hurry under it as soon as you enter the room.

    The room was nice as was the bathroom/shower. That was about all that was good about it. The breakfast was decent, however the location of the hotel was terrible. It is in a bizarre suburb and I may have booked it by accident myself so that could very well be my fault. The front desk staff were pleasant however, the front desk manager happened to see us outside and gave us the dirtiest glaring look. We got that quite a bit travelling in Italy as we are people of colour but it was dismaying to come from a front desk manager. Further to this, once he realized that we were actually staying at the hotel, his tune changed and all of a sudden a beaming smile came our way. I find that intolerable. If you want to be racist, keep it to yourself, furthermore, perhaps working in the service industry for tourists is not the work for you. Maybe behind a desk where you don't have to deal with foreigners may be better. Very disappointing...
