  The plus:Friendly staff, the location is very convenient (few meters from garibaldi/centrale), lot of TV channels and the bathroom amenities replaced everyday.The minus:Overall state of the building and room, it needs some update, although the room look ok, but it can be seen some deterioration and the bathroom still looks like original, the room floor was poorly cleaned, no tea/coffee machine. Doors and lift noises.The old fashioned key system (everythime you get out/in, have to leaver/pick at the clerk)

  Although the location of this hotel is very close to Napoli Centrale the area is at best dodgy. Hotel Luna Rossa is more like a hostel than a hotel so be prepared for very basic conditions, on the plus side the temperature was up in the 30'swhen we were there and the air con was fantastic in the room.

  The hotel is an adequate stay for fuss free travellers. Located minutes away from Naples main train station and Garbaldi metro station, it offers a convenient location to travel to Pompeii and other Italian cities.

  Watch out! I do not recommend Hotel Luna Rosso! They are not reliable! When we arrived at the hotel they informed us that there were no rooms available. We had to look in the street for another place, it was night, we had a terrible night at the other hotel. Even so, they charged the daily rate on our credit card. They say we do not come to the hotel. Absurd! They must have recordings of cameras proving that we were at the hotel on 04/13/2018 at night. An absurdity! Do not book this hotel! Quando chegamos no hotel informaram que não haviam quartos disponíveis. Tivemos que procurar na rua um outro lugar, já era noite, tivemos uma noite terrivel no outro hotel. Mesmo assim fizeram a cobrança da diária no nosso cartão de crédito. Falam que não comparecemos no hotel. Absurdo!   Excellent location, owner and staff wonderful people

  I visited this hotel on my way to some business in Naples. I chose this hotel based on the reviews but also on the convenient location, just a couple of blocks from the central station. I was there as a single woman travelling and fully aware of the dangers of the city. The owner and staff helped me get a taxy and looked after me while there, suggesting safe places to go and eat at and what to do. I had a long conversation with the owner who is the daughter of a local musician. Everyone at the hotel was nothing shorter than helpful, respectful and wonderful. The room was great, they even give me a big room although I was by myself. Room was clean and hotel was safe. I would recommend it to anyone, business or pleasure.
