    Our stay at Hotel Marad was brief, but truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and grace by the kind and attentive staff. Our room was a haven of elegance and comfort—tastefully decorated, with every modern amenity, and a balcony overlooking the shimmering pool. It felt both refined and wonderfully cozy, the kind of place where you immediately feel at ease.As night fell, we lingered on the terrace, enchanted by the sweeping view of the Gulf of Naples. The lights of the coastline danced on the water, creating a scene so beautiful it felt almost dreamlike. It was the perfect setting for quiet reflection and romance.The next morning, breakfast in the garden was simply delightful. A generous variety of choices awaited us, but it was the atmosphere that made it extraordinary, peaceful, sun-kissed, and full of charm.Hotel Marad is more than just a place to stay; it’s an experience that combines elegance, comfort, and genuine hospitality. Though we stayed only one night, it left us with memories as vivid and timeless as the view over the gulf. We look forward to returning, next time for longer.

    We recently stayed at this hotel for four nights at the end of August and had a truly wonderful experience. We booked two rooms and were located on the first floor, both of which were spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed.The staff were exceptional—warm, welcoming, and always willing to help. The breakfast was fresh and delicious each morning, and on our last day, the team kindly prepared a takeaway breakfast since we had an early flight. We dined twice in the main restaurant, where the food was lovely, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our children’s fussy eating by preparing burgers and pasta even though they weren’t on the menu.The only small consideration is the location: the hotel sits at the top of a hill, about a 20-minute walk from the main town. It’s an easy walk down, but the return uphill can be quite steep. I think there is a bus available, though we managed on foot and found it doable.Travel connections were convenient—we took the Circumvesuviana line to both Pompeii, Sorrento and back and fourth to Naples with ease, we also caught a bus nearby that went directly to Mount Vesuvius and back. Overall, our stay was relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable. We’d be more than happy to return and would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

    Good hotel in quiet location with pool.

    Hotel was in good location on outskirts of Torre del Greco. Room was very clean although a little small. Enzo the receptionist was very helpful and friendly and allowed us a later checkout at 12pm without charge and to use the pool after we had checked out too. Breakfast was good, with lot of choice.

    Limited facilities, lack of pillows and bedding despite requesting more. Average food and service. Limited menu. Does not allow outside food when not serving food, very odd. Nice room and balcony

    We met our daughter and her friend at this hotel to tour Pompeii. My daughter and her friend were both in Italy on visas for a semester (4 months) abroad from the US. Another friend also studying in Italy visited for the day trip to Pompeii. In three separate occasions I was asked by the front desk how many guests were staying in our room. I found this bordering on an accusation that we were somehow trying to cheat the hotel in some way. Ironically, for our second night of accommodation it was only my wife and I in our two bedroom suite. The bad taste left in my memory of the front desk personnel was cleansed to a great degree by Pepe (maitre d’hotel) and the restaurant staff. Pepe was excellent. Perfect blend of conversational and professional. The wait staff were perfect and perfectly managed. I will say if I found Pepe and the waitstaff moved to a different hotel I would follow them. Front desk staff needs to lighten up. Housekeeping gets kudos too. Fine job. Rooms were nice except for the closet motion sensor light which came on EVERY time we used the bathroom at night. Should be a way to disable that feature.
