Location

The hotel is set in Naples’ historic centre, along one of the most important roads, Corso Umberto I. It is 1 km away from the nearest metro station, Dante, and 900 m away from Molo Beverello pier where ferries leave for Cagliari, Ischia and Catania. Mergellina Beach is some 10 minutes away by public transport from the hotel, which is approximately 20 km from Naples - Capodichino Airport.

    The Hotel Naples was a disappointing stay. The room was unbearably hot with no adequate cooling, making it uncomfortable to sleep or relax. The service staff were inattentive and unhelpful throughout my visit. To make matters worse, the breakfast was poor quality and underwhelming. I cannot recommend this hotel and would suggest looking elsewhere

    Pretty basic hotel but very friendly staff! Super hot days in Naples and hotel had some issues with key cards, air conditioning, mini bars etc. Luckily the air conditioning in my room worked well. Easy to change the temperature.Room needs a proper place for a big suitcase (kept it on the floor). You can hear the talking from the room next door. Beds are fine and minibar is a nice addition! Power outlets by the bed is good. Light switches are a bit funny. Toilet has been renovated some time ago but the tiles in the shower don't have the seams properly made. Water gets in the cracks. Shower has been designed for someone who is 2,5 meters tall. The shower head is impossible to manage. The shampoo bottle squirts right into your eye. Tower and toilet paper racks are not attached properly. Toilet paper is like silk - too thin. Toilet doesn't work properly. Takes up to 4 times to flush the contents...As my minibar wasn't working I got a free one liter water bottle from the reception. This was very nice! Otherwise the staff was really helpful and friendly.Nice location!

    I booked this hotel for my 18 year old daughter who was travelling solo around Italy. I booked through booking.com much as I did for all of the other places and hotels she was due to stay in. becuase I was booking everything it automatically generated me as the guest - dont panic I thought...I can change that like I have many a time with hotel bookings. How wrong I was...they will not let you change anything even if it is obviously a genuine mistake. Booking.com could not help and despite emailing the hotel on numerous occassions they didnt even bother to reply. I guess they worked out my daughter would not be able to check-in and they dont accept refunds so they got £247 for nothing and probably re-booked her room immediately. I have never experienced anything like this before. Naples turns out not to be a very safe environment for an 18 year old and frankly they couldnt have cared less if she had ended up with nowhere to stay. Diabolical service and terms & conditions

    I stayed here for 7 days, with breakfast and dinner. The reception staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. I asked for a kettle for my room but it took several requests, being told at one point i could not have one, until my tour leader requested one for me and it arrived 2 days before i left. Not what I consider a 4 star hotel. The breakfast was very average and the dinners were awful. The room was clean but basic and I would not stay here again or recommend it to friends.

    Good hotel, not really four stars, but very conveniently situated, rooms all right and nice terrace on top floor. All a little bit tired and woen out but not without a certain charm. Big asset is vicinity of city centre, so that would be the main reason for picking this hotel.
