  Sketchy surroundings

  I was tricked into thinking this was a good pkace to stay with my family. The area was sketchy. I cancelled for the reason that i dint feel safe, and the owner told me i wasted his time. Rude. If this is a hotel why should we were asked to wait for him to arrive at the hotel? On the day of your arrival, the employee who was supposed to cover the afternoon shift got sick, so we had to ask for the courtesy of one of our external collaborators who could only go to the facility for check in. Reason for which the colleague, who was not the owner, contacted you several times to find out your arrival time which changed each time and also arrived at the facility and did not find you, because you had already left. We are sorry for what happened and we apologize for the inconvenience caused by the absence of our usual staff. The shops and the supermarket market close to the facility were closed since it was sunday, but the Place is safe and really close yo the historical centre, just few minutes walking. Sometimes it's better not to stop at appearances. Have a nice day

  Beautiful boutique hotel located in great location in Napoli

  This hotel is located in a great area within walking distance to everything . The reception area is welcoming with a beautiful decor and has beautiful board games and a piano for you and the family to enjoy with a drink from the bar . We also had an amazing breakfast with a great selction of typical Italian pastries , cereals and yougurts. There was even a gluten free option and a super coffee machine to make espresso or cappuccino with choices of juice or milk. The room was massive and high quality toiletries were supplied in the bathroom . Very soft towels and highly decorated bathroom. A very comfortable bed and plenty room for your luggage plus a safe to use complimentary. What a lovely touch to have a selection of Italian pastries and bottles of water in the room on arrival , a lovely kind touch when you arrive and was much appreciated . All the staff were very helpful and friendly especially Vincenzo the owner who was particularly attentive and make sure everything was organised for us to make our stay in Napoli enjoyable and comfortable .   Don't waste your time and money here. The worst hotel ever

  This is the absolute worst hotel I've ever had the misfortune of staying in. It can hardly be considered a 'boutique hotel' when it's basically an apartment run by an unpleasant host in a sketchy, tasteless building. The room was tiny, the bathroom was cramped, and the window had blurred glass, so there was no view. The water pressure and temperature in the shower was low. The people, Fernando and Bhole, were really unfriendly and acted inappropriately. They argued with us and even with each other, which made the atmosphere completely unpleasant. Incredibly high price. There are much better places to stay nearby. When it was written on the door "do not disturb" the cleaning lady came to turn off the AC when I did not expect any guests. When we came back our belongings were completely on different place. While the garbage hadn't even been removed properly after cleaning. Wi-Fi connection was non-functional at the room, only near entrance. Breakfast is a cheap supermarket random - here wasn't even an option for an omelette or eggs for breakfast.We arrived at 2:00 PM as we'd arranged, there was nobody there. We had to wait for 15 minutes after calling the hotel to get in. I'm really extremely upset about the money and time we wasted here. But on the bright side we decided to move out and find a much better place to stay that was also a lot cheaper. vincenzo Palmieri, Proprietario at Neocore Boutique Hotel, responded to this review Dear Mrs Ivanova,In reference to your review, we are sorry for your negative comments. We usually accept constructive criticism in order to improve ourselves more and more, but your criticisms are simply the consequence of an unpleasant episode that occurred and that I am now going to explain for those who should read your review. The reservation you made via booking was a reservation for a double room (x 2 people). In fact, two of you showed up at check in, but the next day we discovered that there was a 3rd person not declared in the room. This is an incorrect behavior, as we need by law to register all guests who sleep at our facility and the cost of the room also varies according to the number of occupants. The problems arose precisely from that moment, when we told you that all the people present in the room had to be registered and that the cost of the room was subject to a change due to the presence of the 3rd person. At that moment you refused to pay additional costs, reaching the final decision to change structure. Starting from that event the breakfast became poor, the owner unwelcoming, the room small, the water pressure not optimal. Furthermore, we allowed you to leave the hotel just paying us the 2 nights you slept, naturally as triple room, without charging the further 2 nights you have reserved and you should have paid ,in order to give you the opportunity to find another structure more in line with your expectations. Our website allows guests a virtual tour of the hotel where we present the structure as it is and we certainly do not present our structure with a view we don’t have, so we do not understand how the lack of view is among the unpleasant things mentioned. We believe that it is better to inform yourself well about the structure you choose, when you travel, maybe visiting the site and reading its amenities understanding what you are purchasing, and acting with respect for the rules of the country you are visiting and respect for the work of the people who work there.

  Neocore Boutique Hotel and Francesca, and staff are the best...

  We could not have been happier with our stay at the Neocore.Francesca was indeed the best. She set up tours of Amalfi Coast and Isle of Capri for us. We saved a lot of money by going through her. The tour guides were 5 star also. We were very happy with the staff and the service. They were very kind and welcoming. We highly recommend the Neocore.   Cozy, comfortable and convenient.

  We are 2 couples that stayed 1 night at Neocore. It was perfect! Close to city center attractions and waterfront. It had everything we needed - a very comfortable bed, clean room and ensuite bathroom. We were only there for one day and left very early in the morning so we didn’t experience the breakfast. However, we picked up food for dinner and ate in the the common area. It was so convenient with all we needed - plates, cutlery, etc. Fernando was at the desk and was very helpful with restaurant suggestions and places to see in 1 day. He also arranged for our airport taxi. Don’t let the outside of the building deter you….once inside, Neocore is very cozy, clean and comfortable. It is a little difficult to find as there is no large signage outside. It is inside a building on second floor. Small sign outside main door.
