    After reading some reviews I thought I'd made a huge mistake booking this hotel but we were pleasantly surprised. It didn't cost the earth for bed and a great breakfast, the room was clean and spacious and the staff friendly and helpful. We had an early trip one day and they left 2 bags in reception of breakfast snacks and drinks with no fuss. I turned 50 whilst there and received cake with a candle for breakfast! It was close to metro stations, line 6 took us to the port for €1.50 where you can get ferrys to Capri, Sorrento etc. Stop off at Chaia and explore that area which is beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.

    Unfortunately, this hotel was only booked as an overnight stay before a flight home from Naples airport. Yet, we were warmly welcomed and treated with great courtesy. All travellers were given assistance to their rooms with special care for those less able. Whether support in getting cases from the coach or with understanding the SIM card door key. Thank you Davide. He alone will bring me back. Lovely rooms & facilities. We had a great sleep. Lovely breakfast dining room and continental fare with a great range.

    Scammed by taxi driver to get there and dirty rooms

    Worst hotel experience of my life, from someone who has travelled to 23 countries. Before even getting there we took a taxi from Napoli Centrale and got scammed. Taxi meter showed €16 by the time we reached the hotel and he demanded €70. Since the building we’ve just arrived to looks like a post apocalyptic prison we feared for our lives and just paid the €70. His excuse was that this hotel was so far away from Naples that this is the standard pricing, and that he had even given us a discount of €10.. We check in and reach our room and it legit looks like it hasn’t been cleaned since whoever stayed there last. The building felt eerie and I legit felt like something horrible was gonna happen. We spent a total of 10 minutes in the room and went right back downstairs to leave. Tried to get a refund because of the dirty room but they were unable to.. If you are so unlucky to have already made a booking at this hotel, whatever you do please take the train there. It’s a sweaty walk with stairs and uneven pavement but it’ll be the only way to ensure you don’t get scammed. Hope this helps anyone in a similar situation

    Great hotel with good public transport connections

    This was a classy looking hotel right next to the Napoli football team home ground (not sure it it would have been so peaceful on match day). We had a lovely couple of days sightseeing in Naples which was easily reached by the metro just a couple of minutes walk from the hotel a single into the city was €1.50, the trains are regular and super clean, ticket machines offer language choice so the hotel is ideally located as you have the quiet of being outside the city but you can be in the city in 10-15 minutes. Don't get ripped off by taxi drivers, if you want advice on taxi costs speak to the hotel reception they are super helpful and want to help you get the most out of your stay. Rooms were quiet, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was continental but had a nice choice of pastries and delicious coffee. If you want bottled water buy it outside the hotel as the minibar water is a bit steep at €3. There is a local restaurant (Ciarly) that is busy with locals - always a good sign, the food is very good, reasonable price and the staff friendly. Also a couple of cafes one that serves very good gelato. All in all a great stay, I would recommend this hotel to friends.

    We have spent one night at The Hotel Palazzo Esedra due to a problem with our return flight home and was accommodated here.We found it to be comfortable, immaculate, helpful staff who looked after us very well. I can’t comment on the menu as our stay was very short.It isn’t really a family hotel although they would be welcome. It seems to me to be very well equipped for business personnel.
