    Highly recommend Hotel Bellini

    rating28 May 2026

Very comfortable rooms and excellent customer service from all the staff! We walked everywhere from here and it's also a short ride to the airport. The courtyard is a special spot -- perfect atmosphere for breakfast and afternoon Negronis. We've stayed here several years in a row and will be back again!

    Surprise upgrade!

    rating14 May 2026

I booked a 'room with view' and when we checked in found we'd been 'upgraded' to a little apartment with a separate living room /kitchenette and, delightfully, our own roof terrace with a fabulous view of Vesuvius beyond the rooftops! It was all very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good but the space to eat it is quite small - when we came down at about 8:30 am all tables in the courtyard were taken so we had to perch in the slightly cramped buffet area. The courtyard was a very pleasant place to have an aperitif in the evening and the location is excellent - not far from a Metro station, just a short walk from the Via dei Tribunali in one direction and, further uphill, the Archeological Museum. The staff were very pleasant too!

A Stylish Oasis in the Heart of Naples

    rating10 May 2026

Hotel Piazza Bellini strikes a rare balance in Naples: right in the middle of the city’s electric historic center, yet remarkably calm once you step inside. Housed in a restored 16th-century palace, the hotel blends old architecture with colorful, modern rooms. The location is hard to beat. Dante metro stop is nearby, and countless restaurants, cafés, and bars spill through the surrounding streets. After the noise and liveliness of Naples, the hotel’s courtyard feels like a private refuge. The on-site bar adds to the relaxed boutique atmosphere. We stayed twice, before and after a tour, and both visits were consistently good. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, WiFi worked well, and the air conditioning handled the heat with ease. The rooms were impressively quiet thanks to excellent soundproofing. Our sixth-floor room was especially spacious, with generous storage, plenty of hooks, slippers, and hand lotion. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. The fixed-rate airport taxi at 24 euros made departure/ arrival simple (make sure the taxi driver agrees on the fixed price rate prior to getting into the taxi). The only drawback was weak water pressure and lukewarm water in the sixth-floor room. The first floor room did not have these issues. Otherwise, this is a well-priced boutique hotel that delivers charm, comfort, and an excellent base for exploring Naples.

    Not a 3 star hotel

    rating03 May 2026

The bathroom in our room on the 5th floor was just horrible. It seems that they cut a hole in the wall and inserted metal shower, the kind you see in the motel 66. One day we had no water in our bathroom and when I inquired about it they seem so suprised. They send someone to check but by that time the water was back on. There was no toiletries in the bathroom except liquid soap. To get a body lotion I had to ask at the reception every day even though i was told it would be provided every day.The breakfast eggs were strangely prepared, we couldn’t eat them.Breakfast room is open from 7:30 am not a minute earlier! It was very inconvenient when we had an early tour and couldn’t get any food except coffee which they put out by the reception.Furnishings are the kind you find in .99 cent store-plastic chairs and night stands.I would not stay in that hotel again. Roberto, at Hotel Piazza Bellini & Apartments, responded to this review We sincerely regret that your stay left you with a negative impression of the hotel, and we apologize for this. Our goal is always to ensure maximum customer satisfaction, as can be easily seen from almost all of the reviews we receive. Even when there are inconveniences, we strive for maximum communication with our guests, doing everything we can to resolve any issues that may arise. However, regarding some aspects of what you wrote, we are very surprised of your review. We would like to clarify some aspects for readers. This is one of the rooms with a lot of good review because there is a very nice terrace with view with several positive feedback, maybe it is the first time we receive a bad review for this kind of room that you compare to a Motel room. For toiletries we remind you that this is a 3 stars hotel and you find in the room:1 Hand soap dispenser2 Shampoo dispenser3 Body soap dispenser4 Body lotion5 shower caps6 SleepersConcerning breakfast service opening, it is well specified that we open at 7,30, we suggest to read that before to make reservation if this is essentialConcerning "plastic chairs and night stand" they are 2 design elements of the famous company "Kartell" we can't claim everyone like it, Maybe they don’t like the minimalist design, but they are very well-known pieces.Best RegardsHPB Staff

    Lovely hotel, perfect location

    rating25 Apr 2026

We stayed from Monday to Friday in April. As people have said, this is a place to escape the craziness of Naples. Friendly staff, good room (shower and bed especially) and a courtyard to grab a drink in pleasant surroundings. The breakfast was good but wished it opened earlier, at 7 maybe. Most people have early starts so a queue formed at 7:30 each day.The location in the old town means you can walk to a lot of places. We tried a few of the local restaurants which were a good experience, i.e. genuine Neapolitan food. Would definitely return
