Location

Young, fresh and dynamic, the family-friendly city hotel enjoys a strategic location close to the Agnano Terme ring road, Terme and all of Naples' main exhibition centres. Guests will find a number of restaurants, bars and pubs in close proximity to the hotel and shops can be found some 1.5 km away. The nearest bus stop is immediately outside the hotel, whilst the closest train station is 1 km away.

Facility

The apartment hotel has 48 rooms, including 8 junior suites, 2 suites, 10 apartments, 5 studios and 21 double rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a cloakroom, a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Rooms

    Not a 4 Star by any stretch of the imagination.

    We were placed in this ‘accommodation’ overnight after our flight home was cancelled. It bares no resemblance to the website whatsoever (photos or descriptions). The website states it is a 4 Star establishment, I understand that 4 star in the EU is not the same as in the UK, but this place was unrecognisable.Pro’s - the room was small but clean and the sole member of staff on reception was polite and tried to be helpful. Cons - Much further away from the centre of Naples than expected ( approximately 40 minute drive). In the middle of nowhere, down a side road in an industrial area. Very isolated location, no shops, bars, restaurants or food vendors within walking distance. There is No Restaurant on site, only a “breakfast room” which is open from 7am to 10am (breakfast is brought in from somewhere else). The WiFi was very intermittent and the electricity kept going off in our room. The TV didn’t work. Mini bar had two small bottles of water, there was a kettle but only 2 T-bags (camomile & earl grey) no milk. Stench from the drains is awful. Looks closed from the outside. Across the road is a municipal dump.The Best Western Residence is not a hotel, it’s more like a Motel, just rooms for hire. Fine if you’re visiting on business and just want a place to sleep. According to the website it’s perfect for families but it’s definitely not a place I would want to stay with children, nor would I visit again.

    Bad smell was very strong

    Smell was really bad here and it's way further from airport than they claim on advertising. We had two taxi/ubers cancel on us because of the location. Bed was also hard as a rock and we decided to change hotels and just pay because it was non refundable

    The hotel was clean and we were well received at check in. However, the location was mixed among small car dealerships and tricky to find. There is a front gate and peering through it I thought the place looked closed. No one answered the call button and we were a bit concerned. We eventually found the entrance past the gated street down some steps. We were early but were given directions to a lovely restaurant that was about a ten minute walk where we had a fabulous lunch. Our room was quirky and sparsely furnished. We had two large bathrooms and three closets but nowhere to sit except on a bed or at a small dining table. There was one small television that had about four channels. My biggest complaint was the WiFi. It worked for about five minutes and then we could never get back on. Fortunately we were only overnighting there. They arranged a taxi for the airport and the driver was on time and delightful.We booked this last minute when a reservation at a different hotel fell through and this is the viewpoint of a typical spoiled American. It was clean and safe, which was our priority.

    I'd love to review this hotel but I can't. Our transfer driver from the airport dropped us outside with a look of dismay and confusion on his face. The hotel was all shuttered and closed up, and looked like it had been for a long time. We ended up in the neighbouring hotel which is apparently it's sister hotel, and is dated with few amenities. The area itself is industrial and nowhere near the beach, with nothing going on at the weekend, limited expensive travel options and only one cafe nearby which doesn't open at weekends.

    I was on a ground floor suite, near reception. Staff members were really helpful regarding shopping advice and restaurant suggestions, as well as directions to where ever you want to go. I ate the best breakfasts every morning, I loved their tarte and pie selection! My brother liked all the coffee options.
