    Manager for a 5* Hotel in London and I can not wait to come

    Where to start. What a truly marvellous hotel. From the entrance, to the main grounds, to the gorgeous rooms; I was truly im awe of the whole flawless experience. From when I arrived I was warmly welcomed by the reception staff who checked me in around 12am. I went up to my very spacious room which had a gorgeous balcony and was able to unwind from a long day in a comfy bed. The AC worked perfectly throughout the stay, no drainage issues, lighting in the room was perfectly balanced and created a nice ambiance.There was a wedding when I stayed which I could watch from my balcony, and although the music was loud (as it should be during a lovely celebration) the noise died down before 11pm and did not disturb my rest at all. After all I’m on holiday and will not be heading into bed before that time anyway.I had a meal in the restaurant which was lovely and satisfying, the staff heard it was my birthday and the hotel owner herself came and gave me nice gift which I will cherish as a memory of my lovely trip.Breakfast was also very lovely and there were enough options for me to have something different every day.Team Villa Buonanno, truly well done. The communication between staff is marvellous and you can tell it’s backed by a management team who truly cares about guest satisfaction.Cannot wait to be back.

    Stay at your peril

    Just do not stay at this hotel. Room spacious and setting and gardens lovely. Food was also fine but we went elsewhere to eat as cheaper after the first night. The rest is awful. The room was dirty when we arrived - hairs (lots) in the bathroom and the rest just dirty. The staff can only be described as hopeless. Customer service zilch - that is if there was staff around to serve us. And right under our room up to midnight a disco is booming away tonight. No sleep for us. We stay in lots of hotels - both for business and holidays. This can only be described as the worst we have ever stayed in. We really do not want to have written a review like this but we just have to warn any other potential travellers not to stay here.

    We only stayed one night so not too much to go on but the hotel seemed ok, the room was pleasant, clean & the staff nice. However when we arrived there was a private party being held at the hotel & the police had been called, this didn’t make for a great welcome. I’m not sure about the location as we went on our way again after one night & didn’t stay in the area.

    We booked to stay here for 7 nights and left early after 3 we were so uncomfortable here. This is a lovely events centre and ideal for weddings but it is NOT a place to use if you are going on Holiday, the restaurant and bar never open at the same time so a relaxing evening drink before or after dinner is not possible. It is NOT located in Napels but some 30 miles outside the city the only way into Naples is a 20 min cab ride €30 each way or by trains which only run between 8am and 7pm. We felt very uncomfortable and not particularly safe walking around the local town the hotel is situated in. There are no alternative restaurants in the town so you are stuck at the hotel all night whilst weddings and parties take over the venue so we were stuck in our rooms all night. The room was very basic with very hard beds. The restaurant food was good but the menu difficult to navigate as was only available in Italian and the waiting staff spoke very little English.

    Great stay for a week

    My husband and I stayed at Villa Buonanno for a week, great surprise when we checked in to be upgraded to a junior suite - we are never usually this lucky!! The suite was extremely spacious and spotless, we had a lovely view of Mount Vesuvius. The bed was very comfy only downside was hearing some noise in corridors and rooms above at night, especially if people checked in during the night. Good breakfast however choice was limited. If staying here we definitely recommend a car to explore and be aware the area around the hotel is grubby.
