Location

A charming hotel located along a main road at the heart of Porto Cervo that is ideally located just a few minutes walk from the nearest beach and 800 m from the town centre.

Facility

The hotel has 4 suites and 42 double rooms, which are located on 3 storeys and are reachable by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room, a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (no extra charge) or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Bicycle storage is available to guests. There is a bike hire service as well. Complimentary newspapers are available. A business centre with fax machine and projector is available.

Rooms

Rooms include air conditioning and central heating. Guests can relax and enjoy the sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. The rooms have a queen-size bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a bidet. A hairdryer and a telephone are available for daily use. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products.     Lovely hotel with great views out to Sea and a great pool area. The bar area is really nice and the bar staff very friendly and helpful. The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was excellent.The hotel is in a beautiful location, with a stunning view of Porto Cervo.     Lovely boutique hotel with amazing pool area

    We loved this hotel. You do need a car though. The pool area and views are spectacular. We had a pool room 301 which had a lovely large portico area looking straight over the pool and out to sea. The room was small and needs updating. The towels were dreadful. Looked like they were 20 years old. Apart from that it was all good. Breakfast was all self service but fresh.     I had an amazing time at Hotel Balocco! The room was gorgeous, with a beautiful view overlooking the sea, mountains, and Porto Cervo. Breakfast was wonderful — a great variety of fresh food, juices, and even vegan milk options.The location is perfect — a short walk to some great restaurants, a quick drive to stunning beaches and San Pantaleo, or you can take the convenient shuttle bus to the beach.A huge thank-you to all the amazing staff: Tina, Roberto, Agostino, Antonello, and Damir at reception, and especially Luca, the bartender, who is incredibly attentive and makes special cocktails (and even provides delicious snacks).One of my favorite memories was meeting the hotel’s friendly cat, who greeted me outside my room in the morning — pure joy!The service and kindness at this hotel are truly exceptional. On a rainy day, they even left umbrellas outside guests’ rooms without anyone asking — such thoughtful gestures really make a difference.I would highly recommend Hotel Balocco to anyone.
