    A Hidden Gem in Sardinia. A Rose among many Thorns

    We had come from a disastrous Airbnb in Cannigione Olbia and found this amazing place on booking.com the reviews looked good so decided to give it a go and what a breath of fresh air. This place is I’m writing this whilst at the hotel because I’m so impressed with the service firstly from front of house Adele who couldn’t do enough for us she personally showed us the room before we checked in and made us feel so welcome that we decided to take the room immediately after our story of of our bad experience in Cannigione she made sure we had a room that suited our requirements ie great view, Aircon comfortable bed and beautifully clean room. We decided to book the evening meal in the restaurant where we met the deputy restaurant manager called Lorenzo who welcomed us to the hotel and show us to our table we had a buffet evening meal which I would say is the best buffet selection I’ve ever seen at any hotel, everything was quality and the service was impeccable. In the morning we came down for breakfast and again we were not disappointed. Lorenzo personally welcomed us and showed us where everything was on the buffet. I have been in the service industry most of my life and I can truly say watching Lorenzo interact with the other guests, was a master class in front of house restaurant service. he made sure that the tables were cleared quickly and efficiently and that the food was topped up at all times, I don’t think I saw him stand still for more than a few seconds, he was constantly directing operations and keeping a tight ship with the staff who obviously respect him and his organisational skills. If I was running a restaurant anywhere I would definitely poach him. All this added together with the beautiful surroundings and immaculately clean hotel we will definitely be coming back here again. FIRST CLASS

    We stayed for one week at Cala Rosa in August 2024. A very big GRAZIE to all the staff. Excellent service, it felt like home. Thanks to Matteo and the girls at the reception and thanks to the waiters. A special mention to Emmanuel, our waiter, and to the pasta girl who wears the glasses. Guys like these are what a hotel needs. Nice animation team as well, E20. Highly recommended.

    Our family stayed there for four days at a deluxe suite. We expected more from the room and it needed reparations. The hotel is in great place but has potential to get much better with better management. The breakfast was good and the the staff at the reception was really friendly. Also the bus to La Pelosa was really appreciated.I can also mention that “the private beach” is not so private since it’s for everyone and it’s really stony. I highly recommend to visit the other beaches 100 meters away like la Pelosa and Spiaggia club house.

    Excellent location, excellent staff, excellent rooms, more than excellent the restaurant (great tasty meals, huge variety of foods). Nice swimming pool, funny and professional the staff for the entertainment of children and adults!!!Perfect for relaxing, enjoy eating and spend beautiful days on this beautiful place. Excellent the organization, we read some negative comments about it, at the end of the day we think if something was misunderstood was because of the not understanding guests. We have a almost 3 years old daughter, she is also super happy about this fantastic trip. Really, far more than expected.
