Location

The hotel complex is located only 30 metres from the sea, on the famous Golfo di Cugnana, an evocative bay which was used by the Romans as a harbour. Guests can reach the most delightful beaches on the Costa Smeralda by car from the hotel, with the some lovely inlets a mere 2 km away, followed by the coast's most famous beaches. A daily return shuttle bus service is available to guests from the hotel to Rena Bianca beach (3 km), 3 times in the morning and 3 times in the afternoon. Opposite the hotel, on the other edge of the bay, is the western part of the Porto Rotondo district. Porto Cervo Centro and Cala di Volpe bay can be reached in about 15 minutes by car. Olbia harbour and Golfo Aranci harbour are about 12 km away. The hotel is 8 km from Olbia centre and only 15 km from the international airport of Olbia-Costa Smeralda.

    This remote hotel IS NOT a four star it needs a full renovation, we took 150 photographs of the problems at this hotel. Very limited menu and very expensive. Numerous problems with our bill “overcharged” so ended up paying our bill daily. Massive mole hills all over the gardens, we were told they were caused by wild boars! They have 2 to 3 coach parties each night meaning they got priority over the small bar and dinning room, so we had to go in the horrible marquee that was dark and very old with a miserable head waiter. These coach clients made loud noises when leaving in a morning. The only good thing we could say was the cleaners did a good job but can only do what they could with the horrible dated rooms!!!!!

    - Breakfast quality is really disappointing. Salty Eggs, old Croissants and bad coffee every day. - The hotel itself is extremely run down and full of trash everywhere you look. Horrible. Unfortunately this is common in Sardinia, but never seen so much trash in a hotel.- Rooms are very basic and not 4 stars.-Friendly staff though. They agreed with how bad breakfast and the hotel is.

    Hotel is quite old with a country feel ( rooms are “rustic” but very clean ). Pool area is good with a covered bar and evening my entertainment some evenings ( often one guy singing 80s songs to a backing track). We ate on the first evening but didn’t eat there again as the food was very average. Breakfasts were very uninspiring- a small cooked selection and a world-class selection of individually packed biscuits, two ancient coffee machines ( one of which was broken). Service was ok if a bit slow. Might stay here again as it was pretty cheap , but would nt bother with breakfast. Glad we hired a car also

    this is a lovely quiet hotel ideal for those who want a relaxing holiday away from it all .staff are very friendly and yes rooms are in need off upgrade but are spotless and towels and linen changed every day bye the lovely ladies .we went for 1 week bed and breakfast and had 2 evening meals ,breakfast typical Mediterranean style,evening meals same and expensive at €40 each with nothing special and everything is extra yes even asking for a fried egg would be extra was informed by the the man that misses nothing in the restaurant be warned.the pool and surrounding areas are nice and well kept ,bar staff very friendly top notch.if you are coming you definitely need a car if not you are restricted to just the hotel and a bus that drops u down to the local beach.be warned no supermarket markets near hotel .was lucky that we booked a boat trip and managed to get a supermarket to top up on water beer and fresh fruit etc etc . If you are coming from airport with taxi get them to call into supermarket and get all u need before arriving at hotel????otherwise you’ll be broke after the week ????.we had a wonderful break otherwise.not much around see in evening because road to dangerous to walk .so remember to hire a car ,??? Hotel should provide bus to local town or supermarket for those who need just an idea

    Beautifull resort, beautifull island, but a car is recommended.Food is really great, very good restaurants in the neigberhood. The beaches are great.
