Location

This quiet hotel is located only 300 m from the city centre and 3 km from the port. The old Basilica of San Simplicio, dating back to 1100 AD, is only 600 m away. Olbia/Costa Smeralda Airport is 5 km from the hotel.

Facility

60 non-smoking rooms, including 2 suites and 10 single rooms, are located on 8 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park.     The hotel was difficult to find i got lost with Google maps and eventually found it on a side street.The foyer area was nice and clean and the concierge were very professional and went out there way to find the bus times for the airport.As I approached my room I noticed the carpet was very dirty and needed a good clean.I opened the room door and was really surprised a lovely large room. Very welcoming lovely bedding and comfortable bed with all amenities including water and refreshments in the fridge.The bathroom was lovely with a large walk in shower.Breakfast was nice with a lots of choice of cheeses and eggs and fruit The concierge was very polite on checkout.

    Bathroom uncleaned and no WiFi

    On the first night I was put in a room with no WiFi, after raising the issue I was then given a different room on the 3rd night. On the fifth night the bathroom was left uncleaned, staff ‘took note’, issue was not even attempted to be resolved. I would not recommend this hotel, very poor service.

    This hotel really did not live up to my expectations for a 4 star hotel at all.The rooms are just dated and drab. The furniture was old and tatty. The detail in the rooms wasn't there either, things like the pipe collars on the radiators were broken and hanging off. The radiator in the bathroom was speckled with rust too.The staff were so friendly though and we're happy to help with restaurant recommendations etc.The continental breakfast wasn't anything special either.

    When we arrived at the hotel room, we were astonished, as it was really big - at least 50 square metres. We felt ourselves really well. However, as we have travelled in Sardinia quite a lot now, then it is typical that you do not think about heating. You fall asleep in a warm room, but wake up in cold, as the sun does not heat the room any more. The hotel is in a good location - close to Olbia Terranova train station and not too far from the city centre.In conclusion, the hotel is not a disappointment. For this money - it is impossible to get a room spacious like that anywhere.

    We did not actually stay at the hotel, we booked it for 4 nights, but when arrived it was not suitable for a wheelchair user. But we feel we had to let people know how understanding and helpful the man on reception was. He telephoned Booking.com and explained our situation, whilst offering my wife and I and hot drink. We cannot thank him enough for his help, hence the 5 star rating, he is a credit to the hotel.
