This enchanting hotel is located on the Lido Road with leads to Alghero's old town. From here guests may marvel at the breathtaking views of the coastline. The Old Town is 15 minutes walk away and Alghero airport some 10 km from the hotel (15 minutes on public transport).

3 suites, 3 single rooms and 67 double rooms are located on 3 storeys and can be reached by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock.     Perfect location to the beach and the village. Friendly staff and clean rooms. There was a great selection of food for breakfast. We have booked our room for next year already!

    Great stay for 9 nights in September. Location of hotel is great, pool is lovely and our family room was a good size. Room itself had been modernised and was very clean. Balcony was a good size. Bathroom a bit more dated but a good size and kept very clean. The staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble and always someone on hand to help out. Teenage son used the gym which he said was good. Pool table was good too, €2.50 per token. Breakfast was fine, nothing amazing but enough for a decent start to the day and a good range of things.We had booked a seaview room and although facing the sea, we were on the first floor and could only really see a tiny bit of sea through the trees. Family who were on 3rd floor had an amazing view though so request 3rd floor if you can. Drawers in the room would be useful too as was hard to unpack for 4 of us and there is plenty of space to fit drawers in the room.Would definitely stay here again if returning to Alghero.

    We picked this hotel on recommendation It was a great choice.Beautifully located overlooking the beach in Alghero with beautiful sea views. Approx 15 mins from the airport in a taxi. The rooms are a little dated however perfectly adequate with everything needed including a mini fridge.Cleanliness is second to nine in this hotel and all of the staff are just wonderful. The pool area is beautifully maintained with comfortable sun loungers and drinks service to the pool. It really was 5 star service from the staff.A short 10 min walk to the old town with some lively beach bars across the road for those who wanted a livelier evening. Breakfast had a good selection, including options for coeliacs .I would fully recommend this hotel for a stay in Alghero providing excellent value for money with the staff making the stay extra enjoyable.

    Have just returned from a 7 night stay at Hotel Florida with my daughter. Having been to Alghero 4 times before I chose the hotel as I had always wanted to stay there and it did not disappoint. We were welcomed on arrival by smiles and given lots of information on restaurants and things to do. We arrived early and our room wasnt quite ready but there were facilities to leave our bags, change and sit round the pool. It wasnt long before the room was ready..it was spotlessly clean with a partial sea view and a balcony.The pool area is also spotless and so relaxing as not too busy with the addition of 2 hot tubs. The beach is just across the road so can pop back and forth and the best bar (Maracaibo) is located almost opposite.Everyone in the hotel is friendly from the cleaning staff to reception and the bar and will definitely return!Thankyou Hotel Florida for a great stay!

    Great 60th Birthday holiday in Hotel Florida

    We stayed for 10 nights in Hotel Florida and the experience was fantastic from check in to check out. We arrived after 11 o'clock in the evening to be met by the lovely receptionist who booked us in very quickly and outlined on a map of the town where we were and some recommendations for restaurants near to the Hotel. The Double Room with Seaview on the second floor is excellent and the sunset views are spectacular, lovely bed and ample bathroom with powerful shower and good air con which was needed as daily temp was over 33c. Rooms were cleaned every day and towels changed by wonderful friendly staff. The breakfast each morning was beautiful with a great selection of pastries, fruit, meals , breads cakes , and some hot food with excellent coffee machines. The breakfast staff were also very friendly and extremely efficient despite it being busy most mornings. The pool area is very well maintained throughout the day and the life guard is always on hand to help and keep the pool and areas cleaned. There was always sun beds available and one of the morning rush to claim beds. The bar staff were also very helpful and friendly especially Anna Marie who makes the best Long Island Ice Tea in the whole of Alghero. The beach is less than 30 meters across the road from the hotel and is beautiful and despite it being July was not over crowded. There is some lovely restaurants locally and some lovely beach bars. If your looking for something really nice for a special occasion then you will find it hard to beat the restaurant in Rafel the food is delicious and the service and plating of the food is excellent. Its a bit pricey but well worth the extra few euros that you might pay and the setting overlooking the beach is beautiful. We had a late flight back home on the Monday and we checked out at 10.30 as the room was being used later that day but the receptionist told us we could leave our backs downstairs in the gym were we could use the showers later for our departure and even supplied new towels. We would highly recommend this hotel as the overall experience was 5 star from start to finish.
