Location

The hotel enjoys a charming location, dominated by the breathtaking beauty of the Golfo Aranci. From the hotel, guests can easily reach the beautiful local beaches of Cala Moresca, Cala Sabina and the islands of the Maddalena Archipelago, as well as the lovely villages of Porto Rotondo and Porto Cervo. Olbia Airport is approximately 15 km from the property.

Facility

The apartment hotel has a lift and features 80 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can relax and enjoy the sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. Rooms have a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. A trouser press is provided for guests' convenience. Catering options include half board and full board. At breakfast, guests serve themselves at the generous buffet. Various dishes can be ordered à la carte for lunch and dinner.     My friend and I just came back from a week in the lovely Gabbiano Azzurro Hotel and Suites in Golfo Aranci, Sardinia. We had an absolute great time! Yes, the weather was gorgeous but that was a bonus. The hotel is absolutely great and a wonderful place to stay. Very clean everywhere, everyday change of big white fluffy towels, lovely pool with very comfortable sun beds, excellent breakfast buffet and amazing dining at Blu and of course, the wonderful, friendly, helpful and always smiling staff!Just a bit of proof that the staff is really happy to serve you; one of our waiters at the Blu restaurant told us : "I absolutely love my job"!.     We stayed for 5 nights and wish we could have stayed longer! Everything was amazing and far exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean and comfortable and ours walked out to the pool. The pool and beach were also incredible. This was a great home base for exploring the Costa Smeralda. They helped us rent a scooter, as well as arrange an unforgettable sunset boat ride -- which was a highlight of our trip! And last but not least, the service was top notch, with special mention to Claudia, Irena, Mateo, and others who went above and beyond to make our stay special. Thank you so much!     Dont book the city view rooms

    We wanted to book a seaview but there wasnt any availability on Expedia, so we booked a city view. When we got there the room was dark and next to the lift. We asked to see some other rooms. We were shown three other rooms and picked the seaview suite which is probably the best room in the hotel, but only available for 2 nights. We then chose a smaller seaview room for our last two nights. We paid 200 euros a night originally then a supplement of 340 euros a night for the suite and 210 for the smaller room. So our 4 night stay cost 1,900 euros. I'm not complaining just saying do not bother with the city view rooms and book the seaview ones preferably the suite if your budget stretches. The suite was fantastic.The hotel is nice, so is the pool area and beach. The bar is great with friendly bar staff. We enjoyed our stay.

    We have just returned from a 7-night stay in the Junior Suite Cala Moresca - Sea View. I had seen some rather negative reviews just before going so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. From the moment we were greeted by the owner/manager we were enchanted by this place! We were blessed by some wonderful weather for the first week in October and spent at least part of every day in the sea and lounging by it! The hotel benefits from the most stunning private area of beach. (I might not have been thrilled if we had to pay for the loungers and parasols but they -and the clean beach towels every day - were free at this time of year.) The sea was the most beautiful turquoise from our balcony and crystal clear when you were in it! We took the strands of broken-off sea grass at the sea's edge as a sign of the water's good health. It was only to be found at the hotel end after a pretty windy day. The sea is unusually shallow so you wade quite far before being able to swim. But this felt like the best walk of the day - watching little fish darting about and the sun's patterns on the water. From the hotel you can walk quite easily to the fishing port and, even at this time of year, we visited two fish restaurants (one very close to the hotel) twice and ate at the hotel the other evenings. The food was excellent in all of them! We tried a different Sardinian wine every night - again, very good! Our objective was to have a relaxing holiday and that was certainly achieved! We did go on a dolphin watching trip which was great and one afternoon we took a train (which was actually a replacement bus service) to Olbia. Our room was lovely with two balconies overlooking the sea. The bathroom is quite dated but the bath/shower arrangement will soon be replaced, I gather. Still, the shower, with its retro jets, was good fun! Without exception the staff were welcoming - a comment that I've seen repeated in many reviews. This helped to promote the relaxing ambience. Thankyou all for helping to make our stay feel so delightful!

    We stayed in one of the suites at Hotel Gabbiano Azzurro and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The views from our room were simply breathtaking, and the suite itself was spotless, with a stunning bathroom featuring elegant marble counters.One of the highlights was dining in their restaurant – truly 5-star quality. We enjoyed a four-course meal made entirely with local fish, and every dish was exceptional. We were honestly left speechless by the flavours, presentation, and overall experience.The private beach was another highlight – beautifully maintained, with fresh towels provided, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the crystal-clear water.What made our stay even more special was the staff. Every single member of the team was amazing: attentive, warm, and genuinely caring. They made us feel welcome and looked after throughout our entire stay.This hotel exceeded every expectation and we cannot wait to return. A truly perfect escape!
