  Great property with a beautiful beach club and wonderful service! Lunch offerings were only "ok", however the breakfast was excellent!Would stay here again and again! Cinzia at the front desk/concierge was very helpful, especially to those of us from the US!

  I've rated the experience of our week long stay at Ma&Ma 'excellent' as I thought 'good' wasn't enough but 'excellent' is a bit too high of a rating in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, it was a wonderful week and we would happily stay here again but there were a few oddities that I think future guests should be aware of. In terms of the very good - it was easy to find (we had hired a car and drove from Olbia), lots of parking (if the front of the hotel was full there was an underground garage), helpful reception staff, clean throughout, the room was lovely and big - as was the balcony. We explored the property and actually there are lots of places outside to sit and enjoy the sun or the view. The walk down to the beach club was easy (and for those with mobility issues, there is a golf cart that you can hop on for a member of staff to drive you.) The beach club staff are very friendly and explain how it all works. This is not a fully inclusive resort so you do need to be prepared for the extra costs of things like renting the canopy beds at the beach club. All the common areas were quiet and well kept. There are drinks and simple food options available near the pool and at the beach club. Breakfast was alright. I was just surprised at the lack of fresh fruit. Very good sweet treat selection though if you're into that. The staff were clearly working hard to keep everything running smoothly. You can walk into La Maddalena but it does take a good half hour. Lots of restaurant choices there though so well worth the trek. The oddities to make note of are mostly related to the room itself. There are no tea/coffee making facilities provided. You do not have any way to control the temperature of the room. The bedside lights are connected to each other so if there are two of you and one wants to use the light the read and the other wants to sleep, both lights are either on or off. There's no where to fill up water bottles but they do replace the plastic water bottles in your room each day. The oddest thing for us was there was no ironing facilities in the room. That's fine as normally you'd expect you can ring and have an iron and board delivered for you to borrow as needed. But no, as apparently in Sardinia there are fire regulations prohibiting any ironing in your room. You can use the hotel laundry facility that can press things for you but I think that was something like €9 per garment. All in all though, these are minor things and didn't take away from the ambience, the setting and the overall experience we had. I definitely would return as it was a super relaxing week with lots of water based activities to keep us busy on the doorstep of this lovely little resort.

  Beautiful Adult only hotel

  Nice little adult spa hotel. The staff was great, and we did not encounter any communication issues. The hotel is exceptional, and our room had everything we could need. The outdoor pool is not heated, and we observed a couple of people using it. Since it was mid-October, the pool was cool, though the sun was a comfortable 22-25 °C. The beach is mostly large rocks, with wooden decks that have cabanas that you have to rent. The beach features very nice bathrooms, a bar, and a reception area that provides towels. They also offer a shuttle service (golf cart) to and from the hotel, which is about 1km down a fairly steep paved road. We don't live close to this hotel, but if in the area, I would definitely book a room there again.

  Hotel review 10 night stay

  We are on our last night at the Ma&Ma and have been here for 10 Nights. The staff are definitely 5 star, they can’t do enough for you. They ordered taxi’s for us and book restaurants in town when required. The pool staff were extremely friendly and assisted when we requested for the umbrella for shade. Breakfast had a good choice of foods hot and cold and loved the pancake machine. When I realised there were no tea making facilities I asked at reception and this was provided, personally I feel as a 5 star tea and coffee facilities should be provided. Also when requesting an ironing board I was advised they don’t provided that service but we could use the laundry at 15euros an item. Bearing in mind all guests arrive with a suitcase with creased clothes I feel this should be provided, we stay in 5 star hotels all the time and I have never come across this. We enjoyed a couple of lunches at the pool, food was very good. yes they are expensive but I understand this is 5star prices but when you order a beef taco and get one taco for 24 euros I feel this isn’t balanced as for the same price you can get a club sandwich with fries. Spa was great I had 2 treatments reflexology and full body massage the beautician were outstanding best treatments I have received in a long time. You get 2 hours free with your booking which has to booked, but again if you want to use again it’s 35 euros for 2 hours. With regard to the outside pool I did use it but it’s the coldest pool I’ve been in and I feel that people are put off actually using the pool area. I love the beanbag sun beds and that they are scattered around the gardens. I hope management read this as a few tweeks and it could be perfect. The beach bar is a slight let down I don’t feel it’s luxury enough for the cost, we did have a drink at the bar and the staff again were very friendly. We had a very enjoyed and relaxed holiday

  We have just spent 6 nights at the hotel . Departed 19.09.25.On first impressions, everything good , however I must point out a few areas that let the hotel down and therefore I wouldn’t rate this as a 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ hotel.1 . The pool is unusable , too cold, even after a hot summer and good weather on the island.2. no tea / Coffee facilities in your room. This should be a standard option in my opinion. 3. We ate the first night at the restaurant and the standard of food wasn’t great from what we paid. The best part was the sardeas. ( dessert) .4. The beach club is an area of overpriced beds / sun loungers in a area they have created near the hotel, which is spread out on a rocky outcrop with no beach! 5. The hotel was busy with not enough parking bays for guests.Overall we had a good break , made use of the spa which was good , this is included in your room rate ( 1 visit) .The bar and drinks typically over charged as hotels do, so no surprise.Breakfast was good, with a good choice. Special thanks to Fiore & Nina who were amazing .
