Location

This hotel enjoys an idyllic setting amidst the typically Sardinian brush landscape, surrounded by century-old cork and holm oaks. It is situated amongst beautifully isolated woods and hills, about 200 m from Lago Liscia and 5 km from the centre of San Antonio di Gallura and its shops. The Arzachena archaeological site is about 15 km away. Tempio Pausania Monte and the Lura Olivastri Millenari are some 25 km away. It is approximately 35 km to Olbia, the Costa Smeralda with its renowned beaches, and to Porto Cervo. The Arcipelago della Maddalena is about 40 km away and it is 30 km to Olbia's airport.

    Cosy family hotel, wonderful location

    Overall very cosy & original feature with the secluded large and elegant rooms+nice terrace. Quiet environment up in nature, electric charger for car. Blackout curtains and pleasant air-conditioning. We slept wonderfully, top quality bed and pillows.The price in high season is fair, We really loved the location and room with coffee maker. It felt like a family run hotel and we have enjoyed our brief stay. The restaurant was enjoyable and the food was very good. Staff was friendly!I feel food portions could have been more generous-but that is personal to me.To improve however was the general service(comparing to other 4 stars) most staff standing around not coming towards us to assist. Inconsistent portions of food and drinks. Sometimes larger portions sometimes much smaller. More expensive aperos (prosecco/wine) come with some chips (occasionally depending if they remember or not) and nothing else. No healthy option available either.Only one coffee machine at breakfast and line of guests as a result. Breakfast variation was ok, comparing to other 4 star hotels. No typical cotton pads, shower cap utility pack available in the bathrooms.The towel for the pool must be asked for.I find that there are some details that could be improved to fit the 4 star expectation.

    Location of the place is pretty but quite secluded. We had a room with balcony facing the lake. Nice room too bad it was so windy and rainy we couldn’t take advantage of our balcony. Long walk down to room with a lot of stairs. Pool looked nice There is a small coffee machine in the room and a mini fridge. Shampoo/ conditioner in the bathroom. Nothing else. We had one dinner there which was averag. My pasta was in a tomato broth sauce with not much flavour. Breakfast could be improved on. The orange juice seemed to have been watered down tinned juice. The bread was not great. Croissants looked old. They only had one coffee machine where one had to line up and wait to get a cup of coffee. They should have a separate kettle for people wanting hot water for tea as they too had to line up for the coffee machine for hot water. Ladies at reception were very friendly and helpful in suggestions on what to do there especially on a rainy day.

    Fantastic place. The hotel is situated in a very quiet area near the lake. We cycled here and arrived to an amazing pool and view of the lake. The check-in was perfect with a very helpful receptionist. The rooms are very big (actually little houses almost) with a good shower, bed,TV etc . A short walk to the pool, which was amazing on the legs after cycling for 55km over huge hills. The bar & restaurant are spacious and very nice inside and out. The food is very good, the 1st night it was filling & nice, but the second night it was amazing, pure Italian - saltamoca cooked as it should be with sage & wine. Spaghetti Bolognese again nice rich and Herby, sea food Rissoto , with fresh muscle, langistine, etc - fresh and hot. Perfect. The other stand outs - all the staff without exception are friendly & efficient, the food is good now, but the wine list is one of the best I have seen in a hotel, especially the local selection, one of the best vermintino I have tasted , grown literally 2km away. Everything here is perfect in every way we will come back to cycle again

    A super find and a really beautifully located hotel

    We came to this hotel after a miserable experience at another. The final three nights of our trip were here and it salvaged the trip. The hotel is remote, overlooking a beautiful lake and has a quiet, rustic charm. And when I say quiet, I mean very quiet which is what we appreciate. If you want action and nightlife this is not for you. The hotel accommodation is spread down the hill towards the lake (Lago di Liscia) and they are beautifully appointed rooms of varying sizes and some have great views of the lake. The public areas are well laid out and maintained and the whole place has a relaxed style and quality. Food and drink - breakfasts are excellent. You can book half board with set menus (good) or a la carte lunch and dinner too. Staff are excellent, friendly and helpful. Bar drinks can be ordered by the pool. All in all a lovely little place and a great find. You will need a car to get around the area.

    A wonderful stay

    The hotel is in a stunning location surrounded by lush green trees in the rolling hills above Olbia. You definitely need a car to get here, but once you do you’ll be happy with your choice. Very good room, well decked out. Lovely pool area and friendly staff. Why not 5*s? The breakfast was fine but nothing spectacular. We ate here one evening too and again it was ok, but ate out every other night in local restaurants which were better. Lastly, there weren’t enough sun beds for the number of guests. Wouldn’t expect there to be enough for 1 each, but when there are 8-10 guests circling like vultures waiting for a couple then it’s a bit unnerving. Overall though, you’ll love it. Ps - bring your mosquito repellant.
