    Just returned from La Funtana.The hotel was everything that all the positive reviews had previously stated. The rooms are cleaned daily, and although we were only there for just over a week, towels were changed on a regular basis, as was the bed.The hotel overall is a lovely quiet hotel with a pool that is cleaned every evening, breakfast is varied daily but if you are looking for a traditional English breakfast you probably wont get one, this didn't bother us at all but I know it upsets some people.We are not going to complain, because we didn't feel it justified it, but a few improvements that could be made is to make sure the hotel bar is fully stocked, as they had no Vodka until our last day, along with no brandy or certain fruit juices.Also previous reviews have said this is an adult only hotel, which it isn't, as we had children there during our stay. It could also do with offering lunch snacks of some sort, as the pool and surrounds are lovely, but with nothing to eat at the hotel after breakfast, it doesn't encourage guests to stay at the poolside.Santa Teresa is a very hilly town, and the Hotel is at least a 20-25 minute walk away from the center, so if you have trouble walking distances, I would not recommend staying here, or failing that, hire a car to get around easier.Although we travelled outside of peak holiday time, a lot of restaurants were not open, which made it a little difficult to find somewhere to eat some nights, also what ever else you may have read, the dominant food in Santa Teresa is seafood, so if you don't eat that be prepared for a limited menu .All that said, the hotel and town are a delight, with a chilled and authentic atmosphere everywhere (ie no night clubs) and we would definitely return to Sardinia.If you go make sure to visit Corsica for the day, it is magnificent

    Average at best - nothing 4* about this place!Superior rooms are very basic & sparse -absolutely no frills!WiFi intermittent & not available in our rooms Breakfast ok but coffee from machines was disgustingChildren here although billed as adults only Location ok - supermarket across the road15 min walk into town Pool area ok but pool freezingStaff ok overall

    Firstly, think the hotel details on TripAdvisor need updating. No snack bar, no snacks available or food available during day/evening, no fitness class, no swimup bar. Check full hotel details rather than checking on TripAdvisor info Quiet, clean hotel. We came just before start of season. Don't mind being out of center as we came to area to walk so suited us.PositivesClean , nice arty type rooms . we had poolside view with balcony Quiet, although might be due to full season not starting Pool super clean. Although cold. Love their cleaning machine that is in pool all day long . Reminds me of R2D2NegativesNo snacks/food available after breakfast. Think hotel missing trick here Breakfast basic, just ok. Lots of cake type stuff ,coffee from machine . Self service. Limited fruit optionsBar - no limes all week which meant number of cocktails not available which includes one of the three non alcoholic options. Could also check what people want to drink poolside and see if people ok. It may have been down to fact building up to start of season but with slight upgrade on breakfast options , plus maybe offering snacks during day , this place could become even better. It's a very clean, quiet hotel which people may use as base for 2/3 Nights rather than a week like we did.We paid great price for our week stay. Which has helped with 4 rating.

    I really liked this little hotel, it was very quiet, relaxing and clean. The staff were friendly and I enjoyed breakfast, something for everyone. Overall I thought it was good value for money and would stay again.

    First I want to say a huge thank you to Daniella. My husband cut his finger and it required stitches Daniella helped and went above and beyond with providing bandages etcHelped us by directing us to the health centre snd organising a cab to the hospital Was very helpful Also Anna was helpful with advice. On places to visit and the bar staff nice and friendly Breakfast and breakfast staff great tooThe cleaning lady is lovely and worked so hard ensuring all was wellThe hotel is lovely, a nice feel to it with a lovely pool Thanks a million to everyone who works there , your all c real credit to the Hotel ButDaniella so genuinely concerned, lovely ladyThank you we had a lovely holiday 🥰
