  For a short break and half board this comfortable hotel offered great value with friendly staff. Our room was modest but perfectly adequate, but the view from our balcony was only a rock face and scrub. Half board was a bit limited but OK for a few days, breakfast offered a good selection with boiled eggs if you ask, to supplement bacon and scrambled eggs if you don't want continental. In winter, the bar does shut early so you can't always have a coffee after evening meal. Would stay again as a good central position for exploring if you have a car and it is only 40 mins from Olbia airport.

  Definitely not 4 star, a good 3 at best. Location is right at the top of a hill with no facilities around. Impossible to get anywhere without a car, apart from hotel's free minibus to nearest town. Hotel is clean and comfy, with nice bed and bathroom, but food hit and miss, and outrageous drinks prices. Will not be returning

  What a wonderful hotel the Li Graniti is !!The staff are a very welcoming, helpful team that are consistently doing their best to help guests and in turn have given the hotel a very warm, friendly atmosphere . Excellent service from the barman, and restaurant staff . The food !! Oh my goodness, wow I absolutely love it , delicious menu , makes me want to taste every dish ! Thank you so much to the management and staff for helping making my wife & I have such a wonderful holiday x

  We enjoyed our stay at the LiGraniti hotel, but there were a few issues. To say it is idiosyncratic is to put it mildly. For a start it is one of those upside down buildings where reception is on the ground floor, but coaches etc. pick you up from the top floor. The staff in the hotel seem occasionally confused as the signposting to the swimming pool showed. Outside the lift is a sign telling you the you need to go to floor 2 to access the pool. Once inside the lift there is a sign telling you that you need to go to floor 1. This confusion is probably due to the hotel being located on the side of a hill which in turn offers you fantastic views from many of the rooms and in particular from the terrace outside the bar. The rooms are very comfortable unless you are allocated rooms adjacent to the car park. They offer you a view of the back of the Leger coach and users of the car park an uninterrupted view of you having a shower.The service in the hotel is generally very good. As part of a coach tour dinner and breakfast were included and this was where the hotel, or perhaps Leger Holidays let us down. The food was poor, a typical main course was a couple of slices of meat covered in gravy with a few potatoes. Vegetables were in short supply unless you count the miniscule offerings in the vegetable soup. In fairness we were given a choice, whilst we were at breakfast, but sadly, by dinner time some couldn't remember what they had chosen. Fortunately, Gerry, Gabrielle and their splendid team were quickly able sort it out. Unfortunately they weren't on duty on the last night and total chaos resulted. I was the individual selected to be left without a starter for some 15 minutes after the rest of our table, and when my penne pasta with mussels did arrive the pasta was cold and I searched in vain for any mussels. The rest of the meal degenerated further as half the restaurant finished their meals and left as we waited in vain for our main course.The hotel has a policy of all purchases being signed for rather than paid for by cash or card. This worked well until the last evening when bills were due to be settled after dinner. Unfortunately the bar and restaurant staff had neglected to send details of that evening's purchasing to reception so most people were undercharged. More chaos with people being phoned in their rooms after going to bed, and our driver/couriers having to settle the bill.Having said all that LiGraniti has a lot going for it, including really pleasant, helpful, although often confused staff, magnificent views and comfortable rooms. It also has a great shuttle service to the local beaches.It isn't quite Sardinia's version of Fawlty Towers, but a sense of humour definitely helps!

  A little disappointing

  A good location if you have your own car but as a group, traveling by coach, it is a tad remote. There is a free shuttle service provided by the hotel to the local resort which is pleasant enough for a stroll round and lunch, but the hotel does have a pleasant terrace area and pool which were very welcome on hot summer days. We were fortunate to have a reasonable room with spectacular views along the coast but other guests were less fortunate. The hotel generally is a little tired but clean and comfortable enough. As a group, we had a restricted menu for our evening meals which was bordering on the basic... all reasonably well cooked and presented, but so ordinary. There also seemed to be petty restrictions on where you could drink, even where you could sit for your evening meal which was tiresome. So, nothing to to seriously complain of, but nothing to get excited about either. When you are in a largish group there is always compromise.
