Location

The hotel is set on a hilltop within a large park. Located in Baja Sardinia, the establishment is near the Emerald Coast and is 30 km from Olbia. Built on the headland, it enjoys a marvellous view over the La Maddalena and the island of Corsica, and is near to the glamorous Porto Cervo and all the beaches on the Costa Smeralda. Various restaurants, bars, nightspots and shopping venues are approximately 2.5 km from the establishment.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 43 non-smoking rooms. Multilingual staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Various dining options are available, including a restaurant (with high chairs), a breakfast room and a bar. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and full board. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. Lunch is served as à la carte, and guests can choose between a buffet, à la carte and a set menu for dinner. Gluten-free meals and vegetarian dishes can be prepared on request. The hotel also offers snacks. The hotel offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    Fantastic suite with private pool

    The best suite with private pool we ever have had! It was AMAZING! large private pool with stone design, we even had our own roof top terrasse, and a small grass lawn ( especially nice if you travel with dog)Over the years, We have booked quite a few suites with private pool- this was the best ever and the reason for 5 spectacular days! the room had a nice view facing the coast and sun set. Unfortunately, The room was only 90% private - the neighbourgh room could look right through the scrubs(aprox 1 meter)- what a shame since the room was so extra ordinary. The hotel seemed very family owned which gave a cozy boutique- spirit - but also with clearly lack of highend professionalisme.- Due to the fantastic room, we cannot complain,- everyone was very nice and polite and we got what we asked for. However, we have some advise to upgrade the experience to the level the room with private pool deserves: 1) cover up the 1 meter look through to neighbourgh for full privacy2) add Fresh flowers - or fake flowers in the room in stead of dead flowers.3) place menues in the room for room service- we had to go to the bar to order.4) fill up minibar daily - we had to ask for snacks and water5) remove broken glass immediately- it took 12 hours 6) breakfast should vary more- same cakes all week ! 7) some cocktails were too strong to drink- use a receipy!8) place terrasse furniture on roof terrasse - without, the space is uselessIt would add more luxery to the room9) offer free or cheap shuttle to beach and baia Sardinia.10) more choices for lunch ( there was 3 things to choose from)11) Consider adult only conceptIn spite of this- we loved it here - and we are looking forward to return to room 305!

    We made a reservation in august which was confirmed ,but after a month we got an email to say that was a mistake with the offer and the price is double or they will cancel our booking if we don't pay....we already made our plans and pay flights and car for holiday.such a scam of hotel.so they make a mistake and they don't give you any option or try to solve the problem.customer service is disaster...booking was made with stayforlong and confirmed by the property Tiziana Tali, Altro at Hotel Pulicinu, responded to this review Dear Sir, /Dear Madame,from your review we are unable to undestand your reservation's details, so we kindly ask you to send us the reply your recevied to allow us to understand what happened.We look forward to hearing from you soon.     The team is super friendly and responsive.The location is great.The food is excellent.The commodities are excellent as well.The concierge has good tips, you can rent a car from the hotel which is useful.

    Very good hotel, great psition, fantastic staff, great food and drinking. the pool area is very generous and the rooms too, it's a very pealsant stay here and in few minutes you are at the beach. this hotel offers big rooms and it's very silent.

    Beautiful location with stunning views and shuttle bus to the beach was good.However, the meals were disappointing.Breakfast buffet was ok but same selection every day.Dinner was very disappointing. Usually we had to ask the waiter what was on the menu as everything was in Italian. And although there were 3 courses, the food was either over cooked or arrived cold. Deserts were the highlight of the evening meal.The room was nice and clean and although we had a balcony, we could not see anything due to the over grown shrubs.We felt the drinks were over priced.The young receptionist was the most cheerful out of all the staff. We did not build up a repport with any of the other staff.We would not go back and although the hotel appeared to be full, would suggest they upgrade their dinner menu and improve on the service.
