  Nice bundle of villas just outside Palau

  This is a good place to stay when you are passing through - easy to get to and out of town so easy parking. Pool is ok, restaurant looked nice, staff were extremely friendly, room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was the mattress, which was not great.But overall a good place to stay if you want to explore the surrounding countryside and then want to relax in the evening without the bustle of town.

  Pleasant stay , staff was nice and the room was rural but with powerful A/C , only thing if you want to keep it traditional it’s ok but at least fix the rattling door and unscrewed window . not so busy and pretty much close to everything. Hot breakfast could be better. At breakfast our service includes: three different types of bread in addition to sliced white bread and related service with toaster, dried rusk, two types of brioche to be stuffed at will, two types of tart, chocolate and jam, biscuits and dry pastry and baked, three types of cereals, white and fruit yogurt, honey, jams, chocolate spreadable , ham, salami, freshly cooked eggs, sliced cheese, crispy bacon, dispensers for café juices and water. Everything can be improved except perfection, we agree with you if that is your thought but it is difficult at the same time not to think with us that this is a great place to start.   Lovely quiet hotel

  We had a standard room with 35 steps up and down and no view to speak of but ok The room was very sweet almost Mamma Mia like with shutters and paint The bathroom door would not close properly and had to slammed not good in the middle of the night Fridge was very useful for stocking up lunch ,evening snacks and beers etcThe staff in the restaurant were very helpful and we loved the bottles of wine at dinner The food was good but oh please couldn't we have the condiments on the table and some flowers...it is meant to be a 4 star ...it was not but a few tweaks here and there it could be so improved The coffee machines nearly every day did not work properly and the fruit juice was just so sweet ..yuck The weather was amazing though for late September/October and we could still sit out in the evening in the reception area with all the Germans and Swiss we were the only English couple there !The pool looked gorgeous but cold The walk to the beach was brilliant just 7 mins and a lovely beach warm and sunny but the breeze kept you cool ..Lovely x It was meant to be a chilled and relaxing holiday it was driving off everyday, taking the ferry to the island or going to the beach .We found some gorgeous restaurants for lunch x DirezioneClubEsse, Responsabile relazioni pubbliche at LH Porto Rafael Altura Resort, responded to this review Gentile Ospite Club Esse vi ringrazia per aver scelto di trascorrere in nostra compagnia le vostre vacanze ed aver condiviso il bel racconto della felice esperienza vissuta insieme.   Really nice hotel and staff

  My wife and I stayed whilst on a motorcycle trip through Sardinia. The hotel is great, but I’m not sure it is a four star establishment. The location is close to Palau, the amenities are very good, the food is good (buffet) and the hotel staff were absolutely lovely. It’s not a luxury place, but if I were visiting the island again I would stay here. The apartment rooms make a nice change from the usual hotel rooms and I enjoyed the rambling route to the dining area and pool. It’s fun, reasonably priced and with lovely staff.   No where near a 4 star

  I was disappointed to find that the hotel did not live up to its promise of a 4 star. It was definitely lacking a certain "je nas ce qoi". The room was quaint but didn't have any amenities or extra pillows and the blanket in the cupboard smelt like dog. The towels were stained and the beds were two singles pushed together ( pet hate!). The breakfast was nothing to be desired and the dinners were less than average. We were also told on arrival that the hotel closed on 28th and so we would be moved to a different hotel for the end of our stay. Although there was a few down sides, there was a lot to be said about the beautiful views and the how friendly and helpful the staff were.
