  Stayed for 4 nights, very well located and loved all the views from the apartment. You need a car to discover all wonderful beaches of Sardinia.   If you’re thinking of going with a young family, this may not be for you. Too many rules poolside particulary the quiet time between 1-4pm. If you book through TUI, it’s quite likely that you’ll end up with one of the poorer villas. There are two types of villa in the main part of the village - one with balcony and stunning views and one with a porch with no view. We had the latter at the end of the property next to the generator looking onto the road, so this took the shine off our holiday. We expected two rooms with our booking, but only got one so the kids had to sleep in the kitchen. Many other families we talked to had a similar arrangement. Also be mindful of the hidden costs and poor wifi. On arrival you will be charged ~£300 for electricity, water, cleaning. We were informed of this by TUI two weeks before the holiday (we booked in January) but they have agreed to refund this additional cost. When you add this to the what was originally paid however, an airbnb/villa rental would have better idea. The lack of connectivity was frustrating. Works in the communal area but not in the villas..The village is south of the costa smeralda and away from the tourist areas. It is located in a residential area on the outskirts of Budoni and a car is a must because the local store and restaurent (if you want to eat out) is a 20min walk, with the beach (Duboni) being at least 40 mins.. The village is clean, well kept and very peaceful. The view from the pool/restaurent overlooking the adjacent hillside is stunning.Overall, our accomodation was a downer and my review would have been lower but for the communal area and in particular, the restaurent and lovely hosts Gianni & Ester. Lovely people, welcoming hosts serving great resonably priced food.   Perfect spot for a peaceful week away!

  Spent a week here with the family and quite simply couldn’t fault a single thing! Rooms pretty simple but had everything we needed in terms of cooking our own food. Beds really comfy and a lovely powerful shower.Always space around the pool, in fact there were a few times that we had the pool to ourselves, again lovely and quiet perfect for being able to relax.Lovely team of people who ran the reception and the restaurant and were always happy to chat and make you feel welcome as well as offering advise on the area.Beach is absolutely stunning however it is a good 30 min walk to get there. Couple of restaurants in the area but again a bit of a walk as well as the nearest supermarket, probably would recommend hiring a car if staying here although the daily walks were very picturesque so it didn’t bother us. In a nutshell a perfect week in a beautiful country with fantastic hosts, will definitely come back here!   A dream!!!

  We spent 2 weeks at Residence Bouganvillage and our stay was simply fabulous! The residence is situated in a picturesque scenery with spectacular views of the hills just minutes away from jaw-dropping beaches. Our apartment was very welcoming, quiet, spotlessly clean, and perfectly equipped with everything you might need, like towels, bed linen, extra pillows, kitchenware, dish soap, a sun umbrella, and a drying rack on the balcony. We hardly used the A/C, but it worked perfectly.The lush garden with gorgeous plants is lovely taken care of and mowed by a friendly gardener. The pool area is fantastic and perfect for a swim or just as a quiet spot to unwind and relax.Massimiliano at the reception office is the best host ever: Always smiling, high-spirited, and ready to help. He will answer every question, provide useful information, and help you organize boat trips (which, by the way, are a must!).The restaurant is a real gem! Ester and Gianni always welcomed us with a bright smile and took plenty of time to chat with us and make us feel at home. We spent unforgettable moments with them and their lovely dog Bracco. They have a rich choice of mouth-watering dishes and specialties of the day. Everything is fresh, delicious, and prepared and served with love. If you are looking for an oasis of peace with an excellent service and a charming Sardinian flair, don’t think twice: Residence Bouganvillage is THE place to be! We are very much looking forward to going back next year!   Very nice place with friendly host

  Very nice place with friendly/helpful host. The beach is beautiful and just a few minutes drive by car. There are some nice restaurants close to/on the beach. Only comment is there’s not that much else to do in the direct surroundings.
