  unhappy stay

  The stay was very unsuccessful from the beginning, the campsite was nice, the sea was beautiful, but that's all.Although they obviously had a lot of space for motorhomes, we were told that they had no space! After we refused to move from the reception, they finally agreed and accommodated us, but then Alessandro, the pitch manager, came in, who didn't know a single word other than Italian and very arrogantly told us that we had to turn the car around, actually to this day I don't know why, because there were many spaces next to us where no one had come in the whole time.Well, we will never come back here again. Michele Atzori, Direttore generale at Camping Cala Ginepro, responded to this review Dear customer, we're truly sorry for your perceptions and your judgement, but let us clarify a few points.Any arrival without booking is subject to the availability of the pitch, but you wanted to be welcomed at any cost without reservation... Even if there are some free pitches on the campsite, right those pitches can have been already booked by other guests arriving on the next days: without knowing the exactly day of your departure, it was almost impossible to handle your claims. Anyway, we found an accomodation for you but you keeped wanting to stay on the pitches alrealdy booked, and that was not possible. Upon arrival, all guests receive all necessary informations with every detail during check-in, in italian, english, german, french and czech, and it is well explained that the choice of the pitches is subject to availability. So, let us give you an advice: booking is completely free of charge, take advantage of the service if you decide to come back and visit us!Best regardsMichele Atzori & Camping Cala Ginepro team

  NOT QUIET. The campsite and beach are nice, but if you want to fall asleep before midnight, don't count on it. The live music from the nearby hotel will disrupt the peace before midnight. According to the campsite staff, they have permission to play until midnight, and there's nothing they can do about it. Michele Atzori, Direttore generale at Camping Cala Ginepro, responded to this review Dear customer,we're sorry that you didn't fall asleep when you wanted to, but this inconvenience did not depend on us or on our campsite at all.The municipal rules regarding the public peace are very clear, and the context you describe can not be legally considered a breach of the peace, expecially in the summer period.So, considering that you liked our campsite facing our awesome sea, we are really sorry that you published a review with a judgment so severe - the worst you could give, one point out of five - that downgrades our campsite unjustly.At the same time, we encourage you come visit us in this period, which is truly quiet: you'll immerse yourself in the beauty and peace of nature; as you know, we're just a stroll from the Bidderosa nature reserve and other beaches that allow you to explore the crystal-clear water and low-lying seabed of the Gulf of Orosei, immersed in the heady perfumes of this delicate, untainted corner of heaven.Moreover, at the campsite you'll still find at your disposal:- our large bar where you can enjoy an aperitif, an excellent coffee or whichever drink takes your fancy.- artisan ice creams made in-house using authentic, healthy ingredients of the highest quality.- the mini-market inside our campground.- our restaurant/pizzeria, the ideal place to enjoy delicious pizzas and other delicacies from both land and sea. - the play park where children can play safely.- camper service, eco islands, washing machines and dryers, mountain bikes, sports fields, newsagent and...   Exceptional Nature and People for an Outstanding Experience at Cala Ginepro Campground

  A family holiday at Cala Ginepro Camping is a heartwarming, unforgettable experience!!!I stayed at Cala Ginepro Campground with my family in July 2024. Located one hour drive south of the city of Olbia, Sardinia, the drive to the campground is pleasant.The beach at the campground offers crystal clear waters, and there is a large shallow area which is ideal for young children. There is an extensive beach area where one can take long strolls and also go swimming, snorkeling, kayaking….Many water activities are also offered by the Animazione staff at the campground!At the campground, all the the staff is exceptional. From the reception, to The restaurant and bar, to Signora Rosaria at the shop, the staff are very kind and efficient. However, those who made the absolute difference during our family visit were the “Animazione” staff. This is the group that offers entertainment and a variety of activities, both on the beach as well as at the entertainment area in the campground which includes a stage and a dance floor. The Animazione group, led by Igor, and composed of Alessio, Asia, Matteo, Rita, Sabrina and Veronica is formed by exceptional members. This awesome group offered a variety of activities for young and old and truly are committed to offering the best customer service!!! They went all the way to provide the best activities possible and were very engaging. The elements which distinguishes this lovely group, whose names I mentioned above, is their dedication, their kindness, and above all their true caring for the task they are carrying out which added to their skills makes them very engaging and a pleasure to interact with them!This holiday at Cala Ginepro Campground was truly an unforgettable experience!!!Thank you all!!   Nice location, some things averagely organized

  Location of the place is very nice with access to three beaches. Beach is nice especially for kids as very swallow water. Good restaurant !Then , all distances in the campground seem very far. Further processes to get things done and organized are complicated. WC kimik very far, bathroom kind of far; 3 washing machines in total. Check check out process kind of complicated; ordering breakfast you have to Paz first but then there is nobody serving you… In theory well thought; but practicable averagely made.   Friendly staff, big spacious site with great beaches. Only downside; WiFi covered only reception.

  This is a bigger campsite. Professional checkin with multi language friendly staff operating the reception. Spaces are big, two entries to the beach and lots of amenities such as a restaurant, small supermarket, etc. Only downside; no WiFi on the campsite only at the reception.
