Good breakfast and good location close to the sea and 25 min walking distance to the city centre.

Good location close to the sea and 25 min walking distance to the city centre. Good breakfast. Small bathroom. Friendly staff. Nice walk along the sea to the harbour and the beautiful old part of the city. Alghero is a very nice and beautiful city to visit.

Big missunderstanding

Being straightforward hotel is literally in ruin. Old ugly indoors, scraped furnitures and doors. There is no eather one electric socket close to bed, ultimately I was borrowed an extension. Bed uncomfortable and dirty (see attached photos). Service was below expectation likewise. During check in we were asked to pay for breakfast (while it was included in price).On check out date, Front Office Manager did not refered to our complaint, no compensation was offerred (we were group of 10 people). Big advantage is location and decent breakfast.

The hotel was clean, and the staff were politely, always happy to help and greet you morning and night.Room size was perfect, plenty of space and storage room. Two balconies, swimming pool was clean not too busy. Air con was great really needed when returning to the room. A little overpriced for what you get, considering I paid less for a different hotel last time, which was 4 stars. Plus you have to pay a city tax, which is common practice for all hotels.We didn't stay for breakfast as you can find a good deal along the beach each morning. But this was just preferrence for us.Walk was less than 5 mins walk. And you get a good stretch of beach and many restaurants, cafes, and bars. There is an area of the beech that is smelly towards the old town. It's not rubbish it just where they gather the seaweed and dry it out before disposing of it. This didn't have an impact on the great beach experience. You can hire chairs and umbrellas for half a day or full they range from 15 -30 euros do shop around.

I found the staff very polite and helpful, air conditioning great and spotless.....found the place was noisy in the morning and night scraping chairs and could hear shower and toilet from next door. Near the beach which a part is used a dump for rubbish which caused a smell.

Hotel was pretty central. Lovely beach was about 10mns walk away. Hotel was very clean and bright. Staff very polite and helpful. Rooms cleaned daily. Nice pool. Lots of restaurants nearby. Lovely walks on the promenade. About 25mns walk from the old town, georgeus narrow streets and great views of the bay.
