  Would happily return. Dated but very clean and friendly. Fresh towels daily. Rooms a tad small but no problem. Great walk to old town. Surrounded by restaurants. Hotel restaurant good. Breakfast needs improvement. Would loved it was nearer town. Plenty of walking involved. Lovely time of the year to visit. No complaints with us at all.

  Lovely staff but the bedrooms were small and looked a bit run down. There was zero noise cancelling - you could hear everyone. The rooftop had gorgeous views but was only open after 6:30 and they played club music non-stop.

  Lovely hotel. Great location and very friendly staff. Room cleaned everyday. Right across the road from the beach. The hotel doesn't own the roof top area and the person that runs it is a bit passive aggressive. When we went up there just for a look he came up to us aggressively reiterating that we couldn't be there for the view and that we had to get a drink or food. That's fair enough, but he could have been a bit more polite. We had just arrived and didn't know it wasn't part of the hotel. Other than that, a fantastic place to stay.

  Be careful what room you booked!

  After booking a Quadruple Room with Sea view about a year ago, I had high hopes for this stay, but, boy, was I disappointed!! They put the 4 of us in a small double room and added a couple of single beds and we had to squeeze around the beds to get to the fridge and desk. When I complained to reception about the fact that I had booked and paid for the biggest room in the hotel, she was incredibly dismissive (I think her name was Carla and claimed to be the manager). She showed no empathy, apologies or explanation, and basically said that I should be happy as I have enough beds for 4 people!! Things got quite heated at one point in reception!!We were supposed to have a large balcony overlooking the sea, but instead got a small balcony with a partial sea view, but mainly the view of the Florida Hotel next door. - we even had to request a fourth chair for the balcony seating as they obviously have never put 4 people in that room before. The water pressure was non-existent, the 'hot water' ranged from luke warm to cold, most days, and the quality of the fittings were old and very tired. The rooftop area is a building site, so don't believe some of the photos showing loads of sun-loungers on the roof. There are 4 stars on the hotel sign outside, but I think this should be more like 2 stars at best. The rest of the staff were great, but as long as Carla is looking after customer service, this place will go further downhill. Note: they have craftily changed their web site and removed any mention of quadruple rooms anymore, so there is no recourse for me to legally complain. I suspect I am not the first to fall for this. On the plus side - The location was great and is an easy walk to Maria Pia beach in one direction and the old town in the other.

  All staff were very welcoming, friendly & helpful. We booked a side sea view room lovely view. Bedroom was large & very clean, bedding & towels were excellent, comfortable bed. Wi-Fi excellent. Hotel in great location on the sea front & short walk into town. Found plenty of street parking at the back of the hotel. Breakfast was good, plenty to choose from omelettes we're excellent. Hotel is great value for money. We enjoyed our stay.Only negative hot water was intermittent most of the time luke warm/cold. Hotel is a little dated. Shower cubicles are very small & uncomfortable to use.
