    Just okay

    rating12 Oct 2025

Lovely welcome after arriving quite late. They had kept a plate of cold food from the buffet for our arrival although the first mistake made was that they placed normal bread rolls out for us even though they were aware both my daughter and myself are celiac (I knew they were to soft to be gluten free) room was okay needed a good dusting everywhere just seemed to be covered in dust, aswell as finding the previous occupants hair in the bathroom sink. It had a fridge that was inside a cupboard so therefore the door didn't shut also the fridge never worked and needed a good clean out (some mould where it had been off for so long) also a fair amount of dust on top of this. Food was okay but the gluten free was so poor literally a single corner of hamburger rolls and crisps bread tucked away in the corner, no separate toaster or any kind of gluten free cereals we literally had to search n check each items labelling and even them some labels were missing making it hard to navigate the buffet. The al a carte restaurant was lovely had lovely gf seafood spaghetti and gf pizza but you only have one night to attend this otherwise you have to pay extra to go more than once. We only went from Thursday -sunday as a treat for my daughter's 16th birthday unfortunately hardly any of the experience's I wanted to book were available over the weekend so we missed out and felt confined to the hotel. The beach is a short walk through the top of the hotel would be nice to have a bar a little bit closer so not having to walk so far to get a drink each time. Entertainment was neither here nor there a bit hit and miss. Then unfortunately on my very last night I ate something that made me violently sick and was vomiting most of the night before getting up for our transfer home on Sunday. At check out I explained to reception I had been up vomiting all night and asked for some water to take to the airport with me (we had no time to go for breakfast and wasn't offered anything to take with us) I was then charged for two small bottles of water to take with us even after being sick from the food the night before. Some staff extremely friendly others barely acknowledged us. All in all not impressed with this hotel standards could be improved Tui Blue Budoni GM, Direttore generale at Tui Blue Budoni, responded to this review Dear Guest, thank you for taking the time to write your review. Cheap and cheerful or a bit tired?

    rating10 Oct 2025

Firstly, we had a nice time but that was mainly down to the great scenery and fantastic beach. If you go you absolutely must walk up to the marina or along the beach to Budoni (not that there’s a lot to see or do there but the walk itself is a must). However, Tui really need to spend some money doing the resort up and get a grip on the place. The resort’s grounds and equipment are all very tired. The main reception and restaurant are ok but not in comparison to other Tui Blue we’ve stayed in and there’s no bar in the reception area so the only options in the evening are to walk up to the pool bar or down to the beach bar. Luckily the weather was good or we’d have been pretty bored. The food was also poor in comparison with no option to have a piece of steak or fish cooked to order and the vegetarian options were pretty limited (there’s only so much courgette/aubergine/peppers/salad one can eat). There was little variety day to day. Also, as a side note, the resort was very stingy on the drinks too. Not that we were drinking heavily but glasses were very rarely filled and it felt like we were given drinks begrudgingly. Onto the apartment…we were in one of the better ones (we later found out) but it still had no lock on the bathroom door, the tea/coffee station had no cups and was not topped up every day (we didn’t bother asking after day one). The apartment’s furniture and facilities was like something from the 1970s. Between the very noisy fridge, the incredibly noisy air conditioning and general noises of flushing toilets/chatter from next door it wasn’t easy to sleep. On top of that the door to the outside area doesn’t shut very securely. As part of our ‘all-inclusive’ deal we were entitled to one trip (one!) to the a la Carte ‘restaurant’. This turned out to be actually outdoors, next to the beach bar. It’s probably a nice (if informal) setting in the height of the summer but was freezing cold by 7:30 when we sat down to eat. Sadly the food wasn’t great. The ‘dumpling’ was deep fried pizza dough (overcooked). The spaghetti was over salted and undercooked whereas the clams were overdone. You literally couldn’t twirl the spaghetti on your fork - it was less al dente and more don’t break your teeth. Very disappointing for an Italian restaurant (and the table next to us were complaining about the exact same thing). My four-cheese pizza was like a cheese soup contained within a ring of pizza crust. It tasted ok but couldn’t finish it. We ended up leaving before dessert so they gave us tiramisu to go and we ate it back in the apartment (luckily we had a spoon). Again, it was ‘ok’ but not exactly the fine dining experience you might have hoped for!As I said at the start, we had a nice time overall despite the drawbacks. This could be a great resort with an overhaul to bring it into the 21st Century. The location is very picturesque and not too far from the airport. It has potential but it’s not a 4-star resort as it stands. An Unforgettable Stay At the Tui Blue Budoni

    rating09 Oct 2025

I had an amazing experience at this beautiful place! The facilities were fantastic, and there were so many sports activities to enjoy. Being so close to the beach was a dream, and I can't stop thinking about how delicious the food was. I truly miss it already. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the staff who made my stay so special. I usually never return to the same holiday destination, but for this hotel, I would gladly make an exception. Thank you all for such a wonderful experience! Not worth the money we paid for it.

    rating04 Oct 2025

Lovely hotel and very clean however very isolated and no pre warning that anything remotely close was closing due to end of season. Asked for creditcard on arrival but didn't explain why apart from cash less hotel. No mention of tourists tax on arrival then charged on check out which is very unusual!.Lovely staff and lovely food until the last 2 days! Evening meals suddenly became fowl and stone cold. No hot water on the last night and struggled the next morning to get any. No inside bar so when it rained it was a case of sit in room or fastest runners got a seat in outside bar. Not the worst hotel I've stayed but not the best. We payed a lot of money for this holiday and compared to other holidays we've had its certainly not value for money!
