    Deep in the woods!

    We stayed one night at this hotel and then the next morning we went for a walk along the trails in the area. The structure is surrounded by woods and many routes start directly from Valliciola or are located in the immediate vicinity: a perfect location for those who love nature.The room was simple but cozy, with wooden furnishings and a pleasant view of the woods. Welcoming is also excellent: friendly, attentive and always available staff.Very good breakfast, served in a bright room with large windows overlooking the woods. We chose to dine in the hotel restaurant and were very satisfied: interesting menu, with many meat-free proposals, local products and traditional dishes revisited with taste.We stayed here in October and the weather — between fog, rain and wind — made the atmosphere of the structure even more suggestive.     A beautiful place

    First time in this area of Sardinia and this hotel is beautifully immerse in the nature.A great escape from the usual coast and amazing beaches that Sardinia is famous for.There are lots of huge beautiful trees, many different species of birds, colourful butterflies and all together surrounded by a magic music of nature.A great escape from the city and the caos of the ordinary daily life.The hotel is well maintained, very clean and the breakfast is great with tasty local pastries and cakes.Very nice and very welcoming staff.

    Hotel way up Mount Limbara, away from it all, with the most friendly staff you'll meet. And great value.Francesco on duty was a real gem, even if we needed some translation, he was ever so helpful , suggesting walking routes, preparing packed lunch, with some lovely fruit...and mixing up cocktails. Deserves an extra star just for him. The food was super, with an enormous local breakfast -home made jams, excellent coffee, eggs, home made yoghurts, gluten free stuff, fruit from the local area. Dinner was super, including local mutton and he catered for our vegetarian kids. And superb value for money. The area around, the walls, the birds, flora and fauna were just sublime and cool temperatures during hot month of July. The rooms were very clean comfortable and good bathroom even if dated. Bed rather hard for us sensitive souls. Lovely views and of course, super quiet and calm.Very strong recommendation as a nature hotel, away from the tourist trails, with the most wonderful and friendly staff.

    Great location in Gallura

    Absolutely beautiful location, great hotel, young and really engaged staff. The hotel is located on Monte Limbara at almost top of the Gallura mountain chain snd allows to start a large variety of trekking paths from in front the door. Seaside is located at ca 50 km from the hotel and is reachable within 1 hour by car. Nearest location Isola Rossa, Vignola Mare just nearby and from there upwards Costa Smeralda. Other part of the isle, Olbia Airport is also located 1 hour by car. The hotel is well kept, great cleanliness and really good restaurant. Fresh made cakes every day at breakfast, good sardinian recipes and tasty dishes at mealtime in thevrestaurant. I will come back very soon.

    Lovely Stay in the beautiful Surroundings of Monte Limbara we totally relaxed here for a couple of days before starting a sightseeing trip. We were well looked after by the friendly staff. Reasonably priced clean airy rooms, wholesome food in the restaurant. Plenty of wildlife readily seen in the surrounding forest. Wild pigs even coming out of the forest and visible from our room.
