Location

This attractive hotel is located in the centre of the small fishing village, directly beside the sea and within paces of shops, bars and restaurants. Golfo Aranci Beach is 200 m away whilst the nearest bus and train stations are approximately 1 km from the hotel. Pretty little bays and beaches are to be found within 5 km of the hotel and it is 10 km to Porto Rotondo whilst Olbia Costa Smeralda airport is 20 km from the hotel and Porto Cervo is 35 km away.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 3 suites and 2 single rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected.     Great location. 10mins from the train station. Staff were very friendly with great service and good prices . Free parking with limited spaces. 5 mins from a host of bars and restaurants.     Cannot criticise Marco and his team for anything at all. Great location. Close to beach, port, shops and many restaurants Superb rooms with sea views kept immaculately clean by domestic staff. Excellent deal for half board in lovely restaurant with friendly and attentive waiting staff. 4 course evening meal with 3 choices per course. Extensive choice of food at breakfast served 7 till 11. Very civilised.     Beautiful location but uncomfortable bed and disappointing customer service

    The location of the hotel is perfect, right on the water front with a good sized pool and beautiful garden. The room sizes are good and the view from the balcony is spectacular. The shower has good power and all the toiletries you need. The fitness room is well equipped. The restaurant food is excellent quality and selection, with very good local wines.However I cannot give this a 5 star review because I booked the hotel as it has a hamman and massage service. I enquired through Expedia message about the massage services and was told ‘don’t worry you can book when you arrive’. I arrived at 1pm and was told the massage was fully booked for the whole day but there was availability the next day at 1pm or 7pm, I said thats during lunch or dinner. She then called another therapist to come the next day at 6pm. I asked to book the hamman for the hour before my massage and she said ‘yes that’s all booked for you’. I returned early from the beach the next day to go to the hamman before my massage but I was told ‘sorry it has already been booked’. I said that’s not possible as I booked it and was told ‘you must have misunderstood’. She then called 10 minutes before my massage to say it was available, which was pointless. The room was advertised as a double but it was in fact two single beds pushed together with very uncomfortable single mattresses. When I complained the receptionist looked surprised and said ‘oh you did not request this?She took the two bottles of water off my tab, which considering there should have been a fresh bottle each day free but there wasn’t, I don’t think it’s a far enough gesture considering I didn’t get to relax in the hamman and I woke up with a sore back from being in the crack of the two beds. It’s a shame as I would have like to recommend this hotel but it didn’t feel like they cared about customer service.

    The perfect hotel for a restful break

    A wonderful family owned hotel. All the staff are super friendly. Delicious croissants at breakfast. The gardens at the hotel lead out to a gate onto the main road where the beach is. We stayed in a deluxe room which had a beautiful of the sea.     Great Experience in Golfo Aranci and Hotel Margherita

    My wife and I stayed there for three nights in late September. Loved the hotel and the town. Great beach location with lots of options for shopping and eating. Staff was very courteous and helpful. We had an issue with our bathroom and they promptly fixed it and actually gave is a very nice credit (unsolicited by us) on our bill at checkout.
