    Great hotel location and very clean and quiet

    Excellent location to visit our Niece for her International studies at the famous Universities walking distance to central town and train station. Very clean and quiet hotel. Also visiting Bologna, Florence, Venice, and Milan via train. 4 minutes by Taxi since we have 2 large luggage from the train station.

    The restaurant at this hotel is a disgrace. The ravioli tasted frozen and the filling was like catfood. The promised cherry tomoatoes were drenched in a heavy tomato sauce, killing the flavor of the dish, which was probably a good thing.

    This is our 2nd time staying a the Hotel Galileo in Padua, Italy. We will be returning in July, 2025 for another night as our daughter lives in Padua and we stay here when we visit her. The location of this hotel is easy access to City Center by bus or taxi; easy access to the train station by bus or taxi as well. We were also able to get the bus from the train station for a direct drop off across the street from the Hotel Galileo. The hotel itself is very clean, the staff are amazing. Price is right as well. Our only issue for this trip was the air conditioning fan was not working so the air didn't circulate throughout the night. The staff were helpful to get this rectified; but not until our stay was almost over. This issue was not enough for us to not consider staying here again in the future. We have already booked our room for July and also anticipating another stay in December.

    I was lucky to get a room in the apart hotel section. Having small kitchen is important in Italy, where restaurants are often overpriced.The hotel offers very reasonably priced parking.Convenient location for car travelers.Center of Padova is some 25 minutes walk away.

    Hotel Galileo offers good accommodation. It is located a bit away from the city center, but there is a nice walking path along the canal to the center. The furniture in the room was a bit worn, the cleanliness was satisfactory. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was okay, but nothing special.
