    Great hotel well situated.

    rating23 Mar 2026

We really enjoyed our stay here! Jessica, on reception, could not have been a friendlier or more helpful staff member. She provided us with great recommendations for lunches and dinners, helped us to find the car parking and in general was a great ambassador for the hotel. Our room was on the third floor, accessible by a small lift (which was big enough for 2 people and 4 bags). The room had a delightful view over the rooftops of adjoining buildings and happily, an opening window, so that we could regulate the temperature (we don’t like over-heated rooms). The breakfast downstairs was delightful and plentiful. Because we ate later, the eggs had been finished, but the staff were happy to immediately replenish them. Car parking is accessed either by valet car parking, or you can do this yourself. The car parking is below the hotel down a pretty straight hill. The parking also provides several escalators to get back to the township, very close to this hotel. Please note: the streets are pretty narrow and less speed is good idea! We loved Orvieto!

Highly recommend this beautful hotel and kind staff

Warm and welcoming staff are the icing on the cake at this beautful hotel in the hilltop city of Orvieto. Everyone we met from reception to valet to breakfast was very lovely and helpful with parking, top sights to see and restaurant recommendations - this was especially appreciated as we had not booked ahead due to airspace closures and flight cancellations, hence the decision to hire a car and explore Umbria. A beautiful hotel and a great start to our mini break. Grazie Mille

    Quaint Hotel With Friendly Staff

    rating28 Dec 2025

The hotel is difficult to find within the city, but the hotel staff was very accommodating in coming out to receive a guest and valet park the car in an off-site locale. The lobby and atmosphere of the hotel is nice, clean and quiet. Value good, rooms okay, clean, but not thrilled with the shower as it was very small.

Great little hotel with staff that make you feel part of the family

They found us another room for an extra night, with the best view in the hotel. The hotel staff really cared and Jude moved in other beds so my 2 children could sleep comfortably. We initially stayed in the quadruple room, which was massive!! We felt like we were staying with family.Lovely location and nice and quiet.Valet parking was a nice touch, although a little expensive….but was welcomed after a long hot drive. Some of the breakfast was good and the manual Gaggia coffee machine operated by the breakfast staff was a nice touch.Easy access to the main sites and village square, but also in a quiet spot. There was a coin slot laundry nearby if you are travelling as we were. Lovely restaurants close by and picture postcard views around every corner.Would stay again.Disliked · AC in the second room was a little weak, although the quadruple room had excellent AC. Small point and we didn't highlight it. Not enough fresh fruit at breakfast, not a great choice and cereals weren’t replaced unless you asked. However, overall was not as bad as we had in some places. We thought valet parking was €25, but it was €25 per night, so this misunderstanding left us €25 lighter !These are small points, as we did enjoy our stay. However, these improvements would make this a flawless stay.
