    Relaxing stay, beautiful grounds

    We visited in May and stayed in the two apartments. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. It’s a great place to sit out and read a book, have wine with friends and enjoy the views, swim… We’re trying to find an opportunity to return and do a mix of vacation and WFH so we can stay longer. Francesca is a great host, knows Orvieto well and works really hard to make sure you have a great experience. She helped us with transportation for winery tours, restaurant and tour recommendations, when we wanted to relax outdoors with some Prosecco and fruit she made an amazing platter for us. She has a driver she works with that can take you into town, wine tasting… and you can message him when you need a ride back. The breakfasts are really good, I think most of the food is from their farm. It is a short walk into town and the views are beautiful, but it is pretty steep. I’m 62 and it was about a 15 minute walk. I’d usually walk into town most days but my wife and our friend we travelled with would usually take a ride in. We didn’t have a car but it was easy to get a ride into town from the driver she works with.     Lovely and Peaceful Agriturismo

    This place was like heaven! Driving into the property we were met (every time we came back from an excursion) by two very sweet and friendly dogs. Francesca was very friendly and helpful. Our accommodations were lovely and so comfortable. The bed and pillows also very comfy. Spacious private bathroom. Super clean property. Fruit trees everywhere. The entire property was just so lovely. It was October when we visited so the pool was closed. But there are many places to sit quietly outside to read or swing, or gather in the pavilion. The entire property is very picturesque. A play area was set up for little ones. Breakfast buffet was very nice. We ate way more than we should have! The old town of Orvieto is just a few minutes away by car. An easy drive. Or you could walk via a very steep hill. We chose the easy drive every time! Overall, such an endearing, almost storybook, place to visit. Don't miss it! We hope to return one day.

    A Homely Experience.

    We stayed in this rather quirky guest house for two nights, looked after by the friendly host Francesca. It really feels as if you have been invited into someone's home, as long as you don't mind two well-behaved and friendly dogs sharing the facilities.The rooms are rather dated, but large and more than adequate. We were told that some rooms have self catering facilities; if not, there is a communal kitchen for guests to use. Breakfasts were great; hot food cooked to order and a wide selection of cold items, including many homemade treats. The house has a beautiful garden, with views up to the old city of Orvieto above, and a fine swimming pool. There is secluded path from the rear of the house up to one of the city gates. However, it is very steep and hard going even for relatively experienced walkers, so we agreed with other guests that using it once day was more than enough. The other options are driving or using taxis.Highly recommended.

    A gorgeous stay with a beautiful family and their pets Francesca could not be anymore helpful with suggestions and suggestions ensured we had a comfortable stayBeautiful breakfast provided 15 min of walk to old town which is gorgeous Beautiful gardens and a pool if you are lucky enough to experience warm weather. Highly recommend 🇮🇹👌

    We stayed for three nights and loved the place. Francesca, the owner, is very helpful and friendly and has perfect English. She recommended excellent restaurants as well as explaining the route to walk up into town. Nothing was too much trouble for her.The breakfasts, grounds and room were wonderful too and when the sun shone it was a treat to get in the pool.A lovely stay. Thank you.
