Location

    Stay Away - Avoid the Insults

    Booked a room for my family using points and were welcomed as substandard guests looking for a freebie. Super unpleasant experience at check-in…teased that the upgrade could be revoked “if the hotel wants to” because the Bonvoy member was not present at check in despite the other (adult) guests being listed on the reservation as authorized to check in. Breakfast was denied despite being a Titanium member, and I had to call Marriott Global Customer Service to get them to talk some sense into their colleagues at this hotel. To add insult to injury, they revoked the already-approved late check out…all because the Bonvoy member wasn’t there but had authorized everything in advance. Family moved to a Hilton hotel in another nearby city and was welcomed as family…used Hilton Honor points and there were absolutely NO issues with checking in and other program benefits.Stay away from the AC Hotel in Pisa until someone teaches them how to treat loyal Marriott Bonvoy members (and people in general).     The front desk staff were quite friendly, but the room and breakfast were just average. The location is a bit on the remote side. Overall, it's clean but nothing spectacular.

    It was considered off season so the AC was turned off and the Rooms were extremely HOT. Out of the 5 rooms we had only 2 refrigerator's worked. The beds were okay for a day or 2 but due to the heavy hard pillows bad for the neck and back. It was advertised with Buffett breakfast included, which is not the case for all. Still have not figured that one out. The food was not cooked on site so not always warm. Several mornings the eggs, bacon, beans, were cold. It is very pricey considering the location. I would not recommend a stay here.     Great stay, even if just for one night

    We stayed at the AC Hotel by Marriott Pisa for one night and were very pleasantly surprised. The room was cozy, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.The hotel has a great central location — only about 10 minutes from the airport and close to the area of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. There is ample parking space, which was very convenient, and the buffet breakfast was very good with a nice variety of options.Even though we only stayed one night, we would definitely return for a longer stay.

    I looked back to older reviews and disagree with a few things said, so I think the hotel has made improvements. Convenient to the airport and a mere 20 euro taxi ride to the hustle bussle of Pisa attractions and a safe location for solo female travelers. I found the rooms to be well maintained, clean, and the bed comfortable. The staff was very nice and the European complimentary breakfast was very good. I consider this hotel a good value.
