  A good place to stay to see Pisa

  The accommodation is very close to the main station and then centre of Pisa so well situated. We had a little trouble with the check-in but we were a bit early. THe room was spacious, the bathroom was good and the wifi was good. They do offer a breakfast - which costs extra but it is very substantial. The staff were not very friendly.

  I really have mixed feelings about this B & B. On one hand although very basic, the room is clean. The B & B is in a great location and walking distance to shops and the leaning tower. The shared bathroom was not very clean and didn’t smell pleasant at all. The reason that will stop me returning to this B and B though is the noise. Unless you are a heavy sleeper it’s difficult to sleep due to the traffic noise outside. On a very busy road and the traffic and beeping of car horns is constant. You can hear every noise in the b and b. People next door, in and out of rooms. I unfortunately left feeling exhausted.

  Good location for visiting the main sites

  Make sure you do the online check in, got very confusing when we got there as we hadn't, although the manager was on the telephone and came straight over to sort us out, he was extremely helpful. It is 2 minutes from the train station. Took us about 20 mins to walk to the Leaning Tower etc but very pleasant walk. Just over the road is a lovely piazza with quite a few bars and restaurants. We were only there for 2 nights. Quite basic, no coffee bar etc but everything is just outside. The room we had didn't quite match up to the photos but as it was just 2 nights we didn't mind. It was clean, the manager was very helpful so it served us very well.

  The room was large and the bathroom as well. The position is great though far away form the main attractions (but close to the train station). The decor is questionable and the bed was very squeaky: i couldn't move without making a lot of nose. Very generous breakfast.

  A really interesting little b&b flat. Hosts seem proud of what they have and it is a really nice place. Four poster bed and bizarre shower with disco lights in the head! Simple but filling continental breakfast. Hosts are helpful and while there is a language barrier they really did their best to make us feel welcome. Location close to town and it is great value for money.
