Location

This club resort is nestled in the Tuscan countryside near the banks of the Arno River, only 4 km from the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The comfortable cottages are surrounded by vast stretches of mountains, valleys and picturesque historical villages. The centre of Pisa and its railway station are approximately 5 km from the family-friendly aparthotel. Lucca and Florence are 20 km and 65 km away, respectively, while Galileo Galilei Airport is roughly 4 km away.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 30 non-smoking rooms and 28 apartments. Multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The apartment hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Further services and facilities include a babysitting service and medical assistance. Rooms

Rooms feature a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure comfortable temperatures. In some rooms, a terrace provides additional space for relaxation. Rooms have a double bed or a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Children's beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. The kitchenette comes with a refrigerator, a stovetop and a microwave. A telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Cleaning on departure is among the services offered. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a bidet. A hairdryer is also provided. Wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms are also available. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

Guests can work out or just relax in the outdoor and indoor pools. Kids can splash about in a special swimming area just for them. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the hotel, including cycling/mountain biking, a spa and a solarium.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant, a breakfast room, a café and a bar. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day.

    Not worth the title of “resort”

    Positive:- Location is good, close to Pisa, Lucca, Firenze and other beautiful cities- Big fridge and Freezer, airco works wellHowever…The cottage- is tiny: the “bed” of the kids is an uncomfortable sofa, which is taking up all the space in the living room/kitchen/main area- is un-equipped: we did not even have 4 spoons, only 4 glasses (no wine glas, nothing), 1 pan (horrible, everything stuck to it), … it’s very difficult to cook anything. Ventilation is not working in the bathroom—> smelly.- is dirty: don’t move any furniture or don’t look under the beds. The kitchen cabinets stink and everything is stickyThe pool:- is a public pool, so be prepared for crowds, local kids camps and many, many visitors- you want a chair with umbrella: 8 euros please! (Yes, even when you’re a resident!)- you are obliged to wear a swimming hat in the pool! Unbelievable. You are not allowed to play with a ball or dive in the pool: wtf??We will never return: quite expensive for the experience we had.

    The so called triple or quadruple rooms are for kids, not for adults. And the living area is occupied by the second bed. So forget to breathe or do something in the living area whilst the kids are in bed.

    We stayed for 5 nights and are very satisfied. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Bed was comfy, the staff very friendly and helpful. Kitchen was well equipped.Bathroom is large with enough towels which are changed regularly. Apartment has a well working air conditioning.This is not a luxury resort but great value for a low price.Location is perfect for trips around Toscany but one definitely needs a car.Punkies were quite annoying, buy a spray!As the pool is open to the public it may be a little loud sometimes.

    The apartments are lovely and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. To get into pisa is simple you can get a bus from outside the tabbacco shop a short walk from the resort. Getting back from pisa is a different story! We purchased bus tickets from the tobacco shop and asked the lady in the shop where we caught the bus, we stood at the bus stop and had to ask each bus which passed if they went to colignola. Each said no. After an hour we gave up and tried to get a taxi. Each taxi that came couldn't take us as there were 4 adults and a child none of the taxi drivers would call another taxi for us and the number on the side of the taxi did not work. In the end we had to phone Eden Park reception and they kindly arranged a taxi for us. Unfortunately as we went in October the outdoor pool was closed so there was not much to do if you wanted to stay at the resort for the day. So if you do stay here I would definitely recommend hiring a car as though pisa is not far the roads do not all have paths to allow you to walk safely and the taxis are quite expensive costing between 20-25 euros.The rooms have all the basics. However no kettle, so need to boil water in a pan and only a microwave and a hob no oven.

    We stayed in the mountains roughly 2 hours away from Pisa Airport -with a 7.35 am return flight to Liverpool. We booked our last day at this Resort for £45 for a Chalet for 2 persons. It was very good with a sitting room, bathroom with shower & separate bedroom with a double bed. It had self-catering facilities with a large fridge/freezer.Outside the chalet was a small patio with table with parasol & 4 chairs. It also had a large, well-maintained swimming pool. Check-in was very fast with really pleasant staff who spoke excellent English.Just a 5 minute walk took us into a small village with Pizza & fish restaurants, bar & small supermarket. They arranged a taxi to pick us up at 5.15am to take us the 15 minutes drive to the airport the next morning -bang on time price 30 Euros.A really pleasant stay.
